Small talk

Idk if someone made a post about this recently but II was curious if other Fishies hate small talk?

@OP-Yeah the getting to know you better small talk, is a good way to weed out and ponder about later.. But since I have Taurus in Mercury and an air moon. I talk pragmatically, realistically, and straight to the point..

If I am friends with you then I talk alot about everything... If I don't know you small talk is fine.Like bare minimum hello, wave, or smile is all I am going to give you. Takes alot of energy just to figure out what I want to say. Because I do think alot and can be aloof so I slow my roll. Otherwise I get embrassed and shut down. Because I can blurt impulsively or offensively..

I'm not sure about smalltalk but I know they're not great at texting. Sometimes they reply, sometimes they simply disappear. Or they seem aloof through text but then you see them face to face five minutes later and they have a thousand things to tell you.

And they don't enjoy any kind of discussion that's negative. I usually get "Can we talk about something else instead?"

I like to get to the bottom of thing nd talking is mostly noise

As a true Piscean, small talk is okay. I hate the wham, bam, thank you Ma'am. I am a very visualized fish; talk to me and I'll see it in front of me. Small talk is good; yeah!

I don't mind it. Sure everyone wants a deep and mentally stimulating conversation, but you can't expect people to get to that level 100% of the time.

Sometimes small talk is better then no talk. Or isolating yourself in a bedroom to the point you're locking the door and watching TV with no volume and just imagining what the people are saying.

Always had trouble with it

I'm okay with small talk if it leads to opening up an actual discussion. Even without that, I wouldn't say I hate it.
