I am trying to get a understanding towards how Sun opposed Neptune manifest. Trying to figure out the true meaning of oppositions. Don't they all relate to polarization of the houses since your connecting two different ends of the spectrum together? About balance and finding a threshold or a medium ground? Kinda like Gemini energy, lesser extent Pisces being two fishes. See I am thinking that an opposition might be just as good or as bad as a conjunction in essence. A conjunction forces two energies to blend together fusing them as one, regardless if they are compatible planets or not. Any planet that is conjunct to the Sun is known to be combust and that weakens the other planets influence.
If a planet is opposed to the Sun, then it is closest to Earth. Planets in retrograde are on the opposite side of the Sun so they are able to be viewed in the heavens. If they are direct then they are in front of the Sun and unable to be seen. Another way of picturing it is the Earth even though its not drawn on astrology chart is always the opposite point of the Sun.
So there's this thing called the Sun - Neptune Cycle - It is a pretty interesting concept. http://www.skyscript.co.uk/sun_nep.html
Kind of does the Luminary cycle but with Neptune instead.
So I got Sun at 2 Cancer and Neptune at 2 Capricorn a perfect opposition. Sun in the 10th Neptune in the 4th respectively.
THE OPPOSITION: RELATIONSHIP OF OPPOSITES
The opposition is analogous to the Full Moon and can be seen as a point of fruition. This is the phase of most manifest duality and objectivity, where an acute consciousness of the two factors in the cycle is reached. Here the individual (Sun) must become aware of relationship with the collective (Neptune). The striving for individuation/separation is intense and yet can only be successful if the individual truly understands the extent to which individuality depends upon universality. The individual with this aspect can both confront the Great Sea of nouminal realities and be fed by it or fall in and drown.
NOW the aspect of Sun oppose Neptune doesn't seem to completely fit me...
"Sun opposite Neptune people often seem as they are not fully in this world, or in their bodies. They may have trouble accepting reality, or create realities of their own that do not fit in well with the realities of others around them. They may be highly intuitive, with spiritual or occult interests, but their intuitive feelings may not always be reliable."
I am completely in my body and sadly enough stuck in this world for a very long time. Venus in Taurus have a strong sense of physical sensation, as I love my 5 senses! Don't have a problem at all accepting reality. I believe that I'm stuck in it. The messed up part is the sad part is it is reality FULL TIME its like I have front row seat tickets at the circus. Anytime I ever talk about my upbringing, it sounds like its stranger then fiction. Intuitive feelings not reliable? I have been doing this reading stuff for over 13 years. It ceases to amaze me how many people have been blown outta their minds by my insight and not just my astrological advice but also my heart-to-heart lets get on some real shit advice that pierces peoples hearts.
Do you think having these two planets in opposition Individual Unity (Sun) and Collective Unity (Neptune) might already be a natural opposition of energy.
At an Intellectual level Sun-Neptune activates the intuition to encompass wholeness of truth, and great receptivity to the power of symbolism and mystical experiences.
At a Spiritual level, Sun-Neptune represents the Mystic who has attained to Union, who has found themselves in order to make the great return; who, through a particular art or service, consciously realizes that his or her uniqueness has been nourished all along by the inspiration coming from the Archetypal realms.
Now I'm not saying that I am a mystic. But a double 7 in Numerology - Lifepath and Hearts Desire. 7 is associated with the planet Neptune (but before Neptune was discovered 7 was the higher aspect of the Moon). The number 7 in numerology is just as powerful as any of the so-called master numbers. We actually are the teachers of the "Master Numbers", the only difference between the two is master numbers can influence the masses. Pythagoras loved the 7 for its great spiritual potential. It is also the most spiritual number.
Now back to the opposition. Can one find balance between these two planets? My dad doesn't do drugs. He wasn't absent out of my life. I had 2 Parents growing up. Wasn't in a broken home. Tho I am the oddball of my family astrologically speaking. 2 Sagittarius parents, Leo Sister, Aries brother....And me the Cancer.
So how does one channel all this Neptune energy if the sign Pisces is missing from the zodiac chart? I got a planet in every other Earth/Water sign except Pisces. Any ideas how I could work towards connecting to Piscian roots lol You know oddly enough, even though I do have all these Neptune connections and correlations. I have always felt like a true Cancer. It makes me wonder if Neptune vibration is working for me as if it were in Cancer. Mother of all Forms and the God of the Waters. As I also got Moon in the 12th trine Neptune in the 4th. Mutual Reception by houses. Mass-consciousness of Cancer infused with Neptune source of awakening humanity = The ability to enlighten the whole world. Reason why Neptune is exalted in Cancer btw. Neptune in the 4th house is accidentally exalted.
Do I feel like I have these gifts? Well a part of me wants to believe it. I do tend to influence anybody around me on a personal level. Can make people open up to me right away. Would I say Im psychic? Nope. I am really good at guessing. Astrology is one of my true passions.
What kind of spiritual path should someone with a Strong Neptune follow? Im really not that educated in Philosophy or studying religion. Taurus does rule my 9th house, I am into simple basic human communication and interaction. The human experience. Think from having 2 Sagittarian parents my soul really doesn't have the attraction to religion at all or achieving some sort of mastery status in life. My mother is a religious guru. But that damn music that she listens to in her car makes me want to kill myself lol
How does NN in Taurus in the 9th connect to the Neptuian energy? Since Taurus is about connecting back to your senses this lifetime. Maybe in a past-life I was a spiritual leader, but this lifetime it is time for me to enjoy the simple pleasures of life and indulge in Earthly delights. Peace and serenity opposed to sacrificing my own needs. The second, the house of speech. I do enjoy hearing my own voice and going on my own rants. I totally had fun writing this lol
Thanks for letting me have a moment of self-discovery. lol Even tho I don't think anybody will read this I will still share. Leaving it up like a post-it. It really makes me think about what I want to achieve in this life. I need to learn more about Neptune vibration. Maybe I need to get some Pisces friends to teach me. I wonder if anybody else does what I do to just communicate with myself lol Sorry I love hearing my own voice. I know thats bad.
