Auto-Tune the News - The Gregory Brothers

I first became of these guys and girl on the Rachel Maddow show. She highlighted a youtube clip on which they "auto-tuned" the news...set current news events to music. These are the current installments. Utterly hilarious...it always puts a smile on my face and is definitely blog/forum post worthy.

I've ✨ those episodes that are just EPIC imho.

overall, i love episodes 2-6. 2 was...is, by far the best. i remember listening to it like 10 times the first night i heard it. the originality, the humor, it was infectious. i wish these guys, girl much success.

OMG! These are great, Tub.
If you'd watch them, ST, you'd find they cover both sides and are quite creative.
Also, and this covers both sides, just because you may not agree, doesn't mean it's not the truth.

btw...I think her show is great. I was addicted during and way before the 08 elections.

@RFT - yeah, I hope they keep it up. I haven't really fell in love with the later episodes but can't win em all.

i like how they poke fun at everyone. what they did with the katie couric ones was/is hilarious. my favorite part with couric is in episode 4, round 2:00. it's almost as if she's actually singing which is sooo cool. that part i could watch over again. the red-head bro is too funny.

overall, i think that people who 1-don't view them and ASSume and 2-who get their news from one source rather than taking it in from a variety of sources regardless of political affiliation only demonstrate their mental and moral ineptitude.

personally, i think the only "fair and balanced" is to hear both sides. that's why i always thought it was funny how on fox news/msnbc that both stations spend so much time poisoning their viewers against other stations. it's really just a way to keep the viewer from changing the channel.

so it doesn't surprise me that a harmless thread depicting videos of 3 very creative young men and a girl with an amazing voice is turned into an attempt by an individual with an obvious agenda to pit one party against the other. i mean, if he had any depth or character, he would have watched the videos and formed his opinion on the videos alone rather than spouting anti-gay venom and unrelated, presumptuous BS. i guess he's developed an e-crush on me though as these tirades are becoming regular occurrences.

First off, I'm not a liberal...I'm a libertarian. So, don't go making assumptions. I agree with ideas on both sides and as an American, I have that right. Maybe there is no "right" answer and we are all WRONG. Who the hell knows?

What about all the crazy town halls where people were carrying machine guns threatening other citizens because of their differing views as well as our black president & their members of congress? I believe that's against the law, no? Neither of these incidents are right or defensible.

I don't care about his numbers or defending anyone in congress or his administration...I just want to see some productive shit get done. It's been a long time since any positive productivity has happened in this country. It would be nice to one day realize the dreams we were promised as children: the harder the work, the better and more fruitful life we can have. Right now, that idea seems completely out of reach.

I respect the freedom to be an individual...if that makes me an idiot or moron, then so be it! Maybe you should watch what's on this post before you assume party affiliation of a user who enjoys a unique piece of work.

RMT no need to clarify AT ALL. trust me. seriously, the vids are hilarious and i think someone even remotely follows politics, i don't care if you're an anarchist, you will love the vids so i just appreciate your taking the time to watch any of them and commenting. these guys are great and i was actually watching one of the vids when you posted.

watch 2-6 when you get a chance. if you don't walk away laughing and bobbing your head, you don't have a sense of humor 🙂
