.... this got me a thinking yesterday. With the state of the economy, and how many American's are suffering and the job market is shrinking, I'm surprised that I haven't been hearing how immigrants are taking the jobs and aren't paying their taxes.I mean, everyone is being affected by the economy. Everyone, except the illegal immigrants that are being paid under the table, doing the shitty jobs that Americans snub at.
Why do you think there has been an outcry in this state about the affairs of illegal immigration? Wouldn't this be an example, a fact, for those who oppose the illegal immigrants in our country??
it's only an issue during major election years. sorta like gay marriage. it's the new abortion threat. you want to get paranoid people to the polls. tell them the immigrants are moving next door and the gays are moving across the street...and they're both bringing lawn gnomes. oooooooooh the humanity!
It's a way to create dissension, keep the sheep in line. Takes the focus off the crap that's REALLY going on. War on drugs, war on this war on that.
