1) James Buchanan was one of the, if not, the worst U.S. President for the secession, which caused the Civil War
2) Credit goes to Harry Truman for the German's surrender on May 8, 1945, with the bombing of Hiroshima.
And, I oppose both of these positions.
1) Certainly, when James Buchanan (Taurus) did turn-coat .. he spoke out of both sides of his mouth, claiming slavery to be illegal and being a Doughface, he actually pulled a fast one since he was allied with the South covertly. When looking at this only for "that" it happened in history .. it would appear as though Buchanan is indeed the culprit for starting the Civil War.
However, two Presidents before him had already begun spreading and securing more slave states, and I truly believe that IF Buchanan had NOT caused the secession then slavery would have continued within our history for a longer period because it was ONLY because of the atrocity of Buchanan that Lincoln (Aqua) became the next U.S. President. He was a dark horse and had no intentions of becoming a President. The Emancipation Proclamation of 1863 may have NEVER taken place, or if it did .. at a much later date and our Black History could very well be extremely altered had Buchanan NOT been a traitor to his position as President.
2) Every time I hear people talk about Harry Truman (Taurus) and how wonderful of a President he was, I cringe. It was because of Franklin Roosevelts (Aqua) tireless and hard work on human freedom, to include international conferences with Churchill, Stalin & Kai-shek that turned the tide of World War II. It was Roosevelt who worked his diplomacy to the bone that established the United Nations .. NOT Truman's bombing of atomic bombs on Hirosima .. that was a travesty, not a victory over Japan. Roosevelt already secured all this by the time he died of a sudden cerebaral hemorrhage on April 12th .. a month short of Germany's surrender in May of the same year.
Solitas .. I was just bitching. Instead of taking it out on some poor sod in here who isn't responsible for my mood swings .. I took some punches at dead people.

Of course Roosevelt gave them the weapons and part of Europe to rule .. the boundaries had to be set. The aim was to gain allies to conquer Hitler. During international negotations, there was no way to predict how Stalin was going to rule the occupied territories.
The New Deal supplied jobs to the people and helped bring Americans out of the depression .. perhaps his policies have had a cascading effect to our economical situation, but, at the time the people had to be saved .. Hoover had only served to deepen the Depression to it's greatness .. at the time, Roosevelt did what he had to do to save our country, Solitas .. the New Deal was based around employing people .. if the post-Roosevelt politicians mis-handled the administration, that's not the policies fault.
The American's as people were diminishing along with The Depression, we were succombing to our impoverishment .. he gave them hope, by giving them means to be able to feed their children. Roosevelt was a great man, he knew how to appeal to the people to get them to take responsibility back .. the same goddam posture you take with international trade .. make them take responsibility and this is exactly what Roosevelt did for us for his country.
Hogwash .. without the New Deal, we would have likely suffered greater hardships than what we face today.
Ok, so you got me on the United Nations. I'll rescind that one .. it really is a joke.
"General Patton wanted to keep pushing the army all the way to Moscow and I agree with him!"
I agree with that, too. Had Patton not been prevented, Russia wouldn't have become the Superpower it was .. The Cold War might not have happened. However, Eisenhower was the General at the time, the head of the army .. it was his recommendation that we not proceed (I think, I'll have to research that if you don't know). But, I do believe that it was General Eisenhower's fault that Patton was halted .. isn't that what led way to his incumbency?
I didn't say he was a perfect President .. I said that it was his negotations that turned the tide of the war .. and NOT Trumans bombing of Hiroshima .. that wasn't necessary .. Roosevelt had ALREADY secured Germany's surrender .. Japan didn't need to be imploded with bombs .. without Hitler alive, Japan would have surrendered .. they were losing the battle, Solitas .. you know that.
"the son of a bitch gave away Eastern Europe to communism for 50 years on a silver platter. You should hear the nightmare the people went through."
Are you suggesting that the nightmare Hitler put people through didn't surpass the suffering of Eastern Europe? At this time .. Stalin was our ally. Are you insinuating that the Allied Pack made this deal with malicious intent? We needed these allies, Solitas, if we were to conquer Hitler.
He said that he doesn't have WMD... UN inspectors and reports said the same... but you guys invaded his country anyway (for the fun of it) as I said 1 million deaths of its residents and 4 million refugees because American think it is fun to doing it.
If anyone is against American thought will be rendered as notorious aint that funny..?? what the hell freedom means..??
On Tuesday morning, three Yale University students set fire to an American flag hanging from a United State's citizen's porch in New Haven, CT. The three accused are Said Hyder Akbar, Nikolaos Angelopoulos and Farhad Anklesaria. The three young Yale students were arrested Tuesday morning and are charged with two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree arson, breach of peace and conspiracy to commit second-degree arson.
Said Hyder Akbar, age 23, is a United States citizen born in Pakistan. He was a translator for United States forces during the Afghanistan war. Said Hyder Akbar was also a senior at Yale University. His bail was set at $ 25,000. Akbar was said to be wearing a sweatshirt that read, "I am Famous in Afghanistan".
Nikolaos Angelopoulos, age 19, is a Greek foreign citizen. His bail was set at $ 25,000. Farhad Anklesaria, age 19, is a British foreign citizen. His bail was reduced to $ 15,000.
It happened couple of days ago..
Is that the freedom and democracy you are talking about..??
To hell with you and your fucking American versions of freedom.
"America should have minded her own business and stayed out of the World War. If you hadn't entered the war the Allies would have made peace with Germany in the spring of 1917. Had we made peace then there would have been no collapse in Russia followed by

Ok, rant done.
