ok ok here's my question:


so have any of ur relationships been successful based on advice u get based on astrology——?

i mean romatantic relationships - alot of us come here in desperation or jus out of confusion bout another sign or signs- tryin to find a way to understand them or jus to find out their intentions.

based on SUN SIGN astrology, no. compatiblity between two signs are far more complex than just sun signs. take into consideration your moon and ascendant signs. going into further detail and to see if you are in it for the long haul would require looking at both partners planets and ascendants (and asteroids and fixed stars, your vertex, etc) in synastry. sometimes you find that your suns are compatible, but your moon may square or quincunx his sun (square and quincunx mean "not in harmony", if the aspect is that of an opposition, it could go either way...it's like a push or pull sort of thing) but his moon may conjunct your sun (harmonious aspect). in this case, you should be able to get along quite well because you have two good aspects and only one aspect. a lot of people think that if they have a lot of good aspects in synastry (like trines and sextiles)then this person is the one for them. no, all harmonious aspects and very few dischord aspects (squares and oppositons) make for a very stale relationship, and so the relationship may erode with time, but of course, this may or may not happen. conjunctions and oppositions are the two strongest aspects (and some astrologers would also say the square is quite potent as they force the planets involved into confrontation), they could either be good or bad, depends on how the individuals manifest them in accordance to their other placements. but this is just the tip of the iceberge, it's much more elaborate than this and i'm just giving a very very short explanation. if you have any specific questions, i'd be happy to answer them.

geez, i wonder if i took a wrong turn here somewhere, lol. anyway, i do think there's a considerable amount of merit to astrology, that's if you don't ignore all the other critical planets at work too.

No,I don't believe in astrology that much,plus didn't get into it until about a year ago and still its overran by just basic life stuff moreso than starsigns or astrology.My boyfriend is a pisces and im a scorp,we've been together for about 9 years total so finding out that was considered a good relationship was news to me,however was never confused about it or anything(we actually talk to each other and don't/never look/ed at our relationship through astrology)If I were to believe in astrology,I would be paranoid cause our charts don't match up well,however we get along fine realistically🙂

Honestly, I use astrology to get an idea of one's general personality traits, so I'll have a general idea of what I'll be dealing with, and I really believe that it provides some insight into a persons behavior and how we'll approach one another after the begining stage. besides, its quite entertaining, I've never found it of much use in the areas of predicting outcomes... I create my own destiny.

I agree with you LovelyLibra, I do the same for istant alot of times it says that Libra's are most good with gemini NOT or atleast I do not get along with gemini's, But I as well think that reading up on the persons sign can give you insights on some of the things you can expect. For some reason I always seem to end up dating Aries, Leo, and Scorpios!

our human ability to understand each other goes way more indepth than astrology. i'll use that first before ever relying on the arrangement of a few planets and stars millions and billions of miles away. people are what is real and tangible standing in front of me. astrology plays a small small part in my understanding of other people.
