From looking it come I can understand my moon matching his 3rd house ( 3rd house means communications) but our suns are different mines in 7th house , his in 12th house I read that means people are oblivious , secret relationships , and 7th house means marriage material . My chart is Sun Pisces/ venus aquarius / rising Sag...his is Sun Cancer/ venus gemini/ rising aries

Do you have 12th house placements natally?

12 house synastry/composite does produce some strange things... but if you have 12th house in your natal I think it is easier to navigate.
I'm a Cancer with a Pisces and we have 12 house all over the place. Mercury/ 12th & Jupiter/12th in synastry. Mars in the 12th house composite.

I think the 12th dissolves the boundaries of relationships so they take on a different form. Perhaps not traditional but ever changing, shifting, flowing. They don't stay still.

I really don't buy that there's any astrological signification for "unrequited love." I think unrequited love is young love. When you get older, you realize not getting your needs met is for the birds. So I see this is more of a maturity thing than a zodiac thing. I mean sure, most all of us get disappointed in love and you can call it "unrequited love" but personally I'd prefer to save the word "love" for a reciprocal relationship. In my book, unrequited love isn't really love. It's romantic disappointment based on an illusion.

But the 12th house is an interesting house. It's got some negative associations - solitary confinement, prisons, insanity, yup it sounds like a scary place. But it's also the home of our unconscious desires, karmic lessons and spirituality. Pisces rules the 12th house so I'm guessing it's the easiest of the zodiac sun signs to be placed there. And pisces is good energy. They aren't any crazier than the rest of us although Cancers can certainly give 'em a run for the money in the crazy department. We prolly win and the 12th house isn't our natural home.

I've got Saturn in my 12th house which is no easy placement but saturn rewards hard work. I've got some karmic debts & lessons to learn but I've got a powerful ally on my side in Saturn. Just gotta do the work. No freebies with father time. IMHO, don't fear the 12th house. Tap into it's primordial energy...if you can!
