In my experience with Leo's they are usually not very direct with what they want. And going against the grain and out on a limb Leo's are still kids at heart always! So I don't think he was kidding about loving you still I'm sure seeing you and his daughter often would resurface old feelings towards you. I bet it is too coincidental that the night you decide to go out and your going to be looking super fly that he doesn't get your kid. They're so indirect that he was hoping you would stay at home with her and he wouldn't have to worry about some guy hitting on you. Is the bar a spot you frequent that he would know about? And I bet he left you for the girl because based off of her trying to be your friend she is not independent and she's a bird brain probably! Your confidence and the fact that you can do things for yourself made him want to leave and it makes him want to come back to you at the same time.
