Than there are those who really think and contemplate what is love and that deep connection between two people, the kind of love that's so intense tears stream down you're face during love making....🙂

I know it made a woman out of me. 🙂

I am the same way when I FEEL the deep connection and down to your soul bond. It has only happend to me twice in my life.

I think of partnership as both people working as a team and holding hands through life.

If two people are partners, they have equal share of the responsibilities. This is not to say that both have to do exactly half, or go tit for tat, but that each may contribute to the relationship in their own way equally. They do things together. They work on any problems they have together. They respect each other's opinions, and that means sometimes they agree to disagree. They lift each other up.

In the words of U2, "We're one, but we're not the same, we carry each other."

I have never experienced what I perceive to be a true partnership, but I would like to.

I'll elaborate lol.

It's the meeting of the minds. Being on the same page. Support of each others dreams and being there through the hardships and struggles. True acceptance. Surrendering of the ego in the service of the one you love. Both if you being leaders while keeping each other in check. Being on the same page spiritually and value wise. Compromising. Harmonious blend of passion, flaws, love, and spirit. It is realizing that it is just the two of you. Nobody's opinions, judgements, or thoughts ultimately matter. Not family. Not friends. Not even society itself. To hell with them. You can shape your relationship the way the two of you see fit and don't apologize for what makes the both of you happy doing it your way. Now that's partnership...
