Posted by AwesomeyahPosted by AdreamuponwakingThis is really SAD. I feel very immature to answer this question or maybe I dont have any but an Ivy league college = good job.
Ok long story short
i had to drop out of a 4 year college the first time around at 19 for financial reasons.
my grandparents who paid for my dad and his brothers to go to college said that they would help me if i re-enrolled at a four year school for several years in my early twenties but recanted when it was time for them to own up to that promise.
I did well while working a part time job and even with a brief bout of being homeless and
i got into an ivy league university moved to the east coast and now they refuse to help me ....for "tax reasons"
but even with tax issues...they aren't really broke...they can still afford it
especially as they are helping out my youngest cousin who is also in college but happens to be a boy and their favorite.
how can i make them follow through on their promise?
my financial aid package is nonexistent.
i'm working a full time job..and trying my hardest.
it kills me to say this...but I'm the smartest of their grandchildren and i have the most potential
i just wasn't born the right gender
grandpa is a chauvinist
grandma was also super stingy and the jealous type as wellclick to expand

If you could convince/manipulate them into thinking that you can give them good returns on their investment.. This will work.

A handwritten letter and a photocopy of your score card to your grandparents.
All the best. Hope you get it and don't have to quit your studies. Don't quit.click to expand
