Hey, what can I say..got alot on my mind! I'm on a roll tonight!
I do this a lot though, mostly always seems to be the negative traits though! With my ex I was always saying "he's a Cancer so he's prob gone to cry about it".
Nope, I keep it for myself.
Yeah I used to keep it to myself, especially when I'd notice people were slightly overwhelmed when I'd speak with such enthusiam about astrology.
I'll admit, I usually only refer to astrology when I'm noticing/picking out NEGATIVE traits, BUT even when I'm giving someone a compliment & using their sign as my way of validating the compliment, people still look at me weird. (Example: Me telling someone I love how caring they are, & adding that this is what I particuarly love about LIBRAS!)
Now don't get me wrong, it's not like I go around throwing out astrology all day long, BUT if there's a certain trait that's sticking out about someone that I feel is very COMMON for people in certain signs, this is when I'll go ahead & mention the zodiac.
It's even worse when I'm chatting with another Aqua. I'm always so quick to say, "See that's what I like about Aquas," & if someone is not into astrology like I am, this confuses them

my friends just look at me like I just broke wind,and when I slip in front of people I don't know well....they REALLY look at me like I'm from another planet.but it's so ingrained in me now...it's just a subconscious involuntary reaction.

@Bella: You took the word right out of my mouth. It's naturally ingrained in me. Now every time I see good OR bad traits in someone, I somehow find a way to attribute/connect those traits to astrology!
And it's even worse when someone isn't acting like the typical zodiac sign that they are. When I meet very shy, non-talkative & anti-social Geminis (example), the look on my face says it all! I'll literally sit there confused like, "Wait a minute! You're supposed to be acting like & have the personality of a GEMINI!"
And oh gosh, explaining astrology to others is like a 2 year old trying to teach 8th graders Spanish. It goes in 1 ear & out the other. And especially since I know how ADVANCED & complicated true astrology really is. Most people think of "Horoscopes" when I mention astrology, OR at best, they'll know a tiny bit about their sign ONLY. Trying to explain the other planetary placements, natal charts & all that good stuff is like trying to teach a dog how to count. It just doesn't work!

The other day, 1 of my male friends pissed me off b/c he kept obsessing over his girlfriend. When I yelled, "UGH, SCORPIOS!" he just looked at me like, "Um, what does my zodiac have to do with anything?"
I can't help it! Now that I'm so into astrology & feel I know alot about each sign, I tend to use it to my advantage in certain situations! But for those who aren't as into astrology, they always look at me funny when I mention their sign during conversations that have NOTHING to do with astrology!
(Examples):
Aqua friend tells me about how the guy she's been recently dating is accusing her of being too detached. My response: "Well then quit acting like an Aquarius!"
I find out that 1 of my Gemini friends told people something I didn't want others to know. My 1st response: "UGH! GEMINIS!"
My Cancer friend takes everything personal & often cries over the littlest things. My response: "Oh gosh...just like the typical Cancer."
