There's this girl who I've been whatsapping with, she's the ex girlfriend of one of my friends. We've got so much in common and we understand each other very well, she told me she thinks I'm a very interesting guy. 😄 But I think we're talking a bit too long over text and I want to avoid the 'friendzone'.
So because of this I want to get up and hang out with her but as I'm pretty socially awkward, how do I do this? Especially while I know a lot about her already which could make it even more awkward?

@OP. I think you should keep her in the friend zone out of respect for your friend. There are plenty of free single women you can hang out with/date. Why go for your friend's ex? Would you eat the leftover dinner from your friend's plate? Dating his ex would be exactly that!!! Leftovers anyone?!!!

Because this seems to be the first girl to ever respect and admire my unusual interests and personality. And my friend told me he didn't even like her after all.

What is her sign? Just casually ask to hang out somewhere and when you see her in person... feel out the energy.

But if you're a shy person don't stress. Take it slow. She won't friend zone you. Do things when you're ready for it cause otherwise it can become awkward. Let her come with the suggestion perhaps? Don't be too much on texts. Don't be something that doesn't represent you irl or something you wouldn't dare to do irl.

I did ask her to chill some time, luckily she said she'd love to. Felt like she was waiting for me to ask. But idk, it takes long for me opening up to someone, so asking her out is already a bit 'not being myself'. I'm just so shy because I'm not that experienced with meeting girls. I made a whole thread about it earlier.

Oooh... Nice! I personally have gotten along with all decans - it's just that some feel more like super close friends and others have some heat that I really, personally like.

I have a lot of experience with this combo. I'm not 1st Decan Scorpio... I'm 2nd Decan. But, have had relationships with Pisces in 1st and 3rd Decan and REALLY close friendships of 1st and 2nd (3rd usually turns into love fast).

Do you know her venus? Yours? Actually just your charts would be nice to look at.

Texting is nice - but, you HAVE TO have more physical contact. Talking and having the physical contact is much more intense and will get you farther.

Don't hesitate to casually aske her out... If you two are flowing, she won't be one to think twice about it - it will feel natural for her to say yes.

Still, I'm wondering what I should do with the fact that I have such a hard time initiating and all of that. It feels as if "normal" human beings are 50% animal 50% alien, and I just feel like I'm 90% alien and 10% animal. So frustrating, not that it's a true thing but it makes things so damn awkward lol.

Lol!! Can you explain your 90% alien, please? Is it that you don't feel heat, passion, aggression, don't get turned on by smell, the visual?

You have a need to express yourself... You've mentioned it before. So, it's there. You just need to be louder about it.

What is it that you feel hard to accomplish?

For me it feels like I'm too spacey, not human, probably too 'right brained'.
Sometimes it feels like I'm not in touch with the world or something. Like everything is not normal, seeing, hearing and feeling becomes weird. That's what makes me so not firm, everything is one big 'it could be anything'. Hard to explain, English is not my 1st language 😉

So that's offtopic, but this is probably the reason that nothing goes automatically for me. I'm so very confused about how it's possible that certain friends of mine have girlfriends or even get laid all the time without any effort. That's how it works out for them if they just 'are themselves' .. Most used advice, and a great advice if everybody was like that.

And I hung out with her yesterday and unfortunately it was just plain boring, even though she's an amazing girl. I just saw her interest drop more and more. I've been myself so many times with girls but it has never worked out well. What would it be? Too scared? Too shy? Can people see that I'm in a conflict with myself? I'm probably just autistic or something lol.

So.... Check out the last thing I wrote.. Now I heard through multiple friends that she really likes me. My negative attitude towards myself just got destroyed for a second thanks to reality. 😄

Yes, yesterday I spent some time with her again and she talked almost non stop for 20 minutes lol! But I like that. Never expected it as she has the stereotype 'Deep intense' Scorpio appearance.
