As a (nominal) Anglican (Episcopalian) considering a conversion to Roman Catholicism I would like to hear from other people from any religious background who have become Catholics. What was your religious background, why did you decide to convert, how long ago was it and how has it changed your life? Also how long was the induction process? For me, I have long been attracted to Catholicism because on the whole I have found Catholics to be kind and compassionate people (generally more so than other people) and I admire that.
