Novena's and faith

I know people have mixed feelings on novena's, and I've actually done alot of thinking on it myself, and talked to priests whom I consider to be very learned, very much "in the real world", ie, Jesuits! I have been told that novena's are a form of devotion, of prayer and of focus, a way of asking for help. SUre, there are people who "use" them the wrong way, but that doesn't make the novena act wrong. With time and understanding, most will come to see it as another form of prayer, and hopefully, doing this kind of praying, using certain words a certain number of repetitions, whatever, will lead to a deeper spirituality, where you will begin to pray truly from your heart. That's all. If it's not for you, find what is! But they do bring comfort to many people, as the familiar often does, so please just let it be. And, I have actually prayed for things and witnessed what i consider miracles. Other people would say, "eh, that's not so much", but to me in my life, they were miracles!

To that end, I am submitting two prayers that are dear to me, and have produced miracles, and for which i am grateful. They have not only led me to my desires, they have opened me to new levels of understanding and spiritual growth.

Good luck, no matter what your level of spirituality or faith may be, I wish and pray for happiness if you are reading this. I wish us all on Earth, peace and balance. I respect and love your spirit and all the ways you celebrate it, if it be with full love. Love is the strongest force in the universe! Share it! And may I say God Bless You with His goodness.

TO the Holy Spirit:

Say this prayer nine times in a row, for three days. Ask for a miracle, because in God, all things are possible. Publish this prayer. Thank You, Holy Spirit!

Oh Holy Spirit, You who make me see everything and opened my eyes to the beauty of this world, You who showed me the way to reach my ideals. You who gave me the divine gift to forgive allt he wrong that was done to me, and You who are in all instances in my life, i want to Thank You now for everything, and confirm with You once more that I never want to be separated from You, no matter what the material desire may be. i want to be with YOu and my loved ones, in Your perpetual glory. Thank You for loving me and my loved ones. (State your petition) Amen

To the Blessed Virgin Mary

Say this beautiful prayer with faith and love three times in a row for three days, asking for your miracle. promise to publish. After each prayer, say nine Hail Mary's. God Bless You!

Oh most beautiful flower of Mount Carmel, fruitful vine, splendor of heaven, Blessed Mother of the Son of God, Immaculate Virgin, assist me in my necessity. O Star of the Sea, help me and show me here You are my mother. O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth, I humbly beseech Thee from the bottom of my heart to secure me in my necessity. (Make your request) There are none that can withstand Your power. O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to Thee. (say this three times) Holy Mary, I place this cause in Your hands. (Repeat this three times)
