A somewhat sensible post from you finally. 🙂
"Now I know that may sound silly as people "don't know what's good for them"
but the truth is that telling someone what you think (whether right or wrong)
is good for them"
Honesty is always the best policy. Charlatans and fakes shrivel at it's sound. 🙂
"I was going to become a Psychologist and had studied
it (And several other mind/brain studies) for about 5 years and
by 9th grade decided to take an advanced class in the subject
in which I completely Aced the entire class without ever studying."
You studied for 5 years but passed without studying ?

I don't know about everyone else but my depression
is no magic trick.
I am depressed for reasons and I have proven that the
best way to overcome depression for me is to overcome
depression... There is no magical pill to remove
magical depression and there is no pill that can
help to remove depression!!! It is a lie when you are
told otherwise. The depression can be removed only by
altering your overall outlook on things.
For example if you saw the world the way your mind
naturally sees it and you are a pessimist who has been
given an antidepressant to remove the depression it won't
work because the depression isn't made from your brain
chemistry. It is made from your thoughts as we can alter
thoughts and alter brain chemistry...
Taking a magical happy pill creates a false happy that
usually makes people more depressed.
If the patient understands that the pill is to help
their thoughts become more optimistic there is a much
larger chance that the pill will help. Most psychiatrists
don't tell their patients this...Maybe they don't know.
Because of all I've said it must be known that overcoming
depression is much better done by ones self without drugs
and if the person wishes to use drugs it should be the drugs
that they like most.
Now I know that may sound silly as people "don't know what's good for them"
but the truth is that telling someone what you think (whether right or wrong)
is good for them is pointless as all wisdom is gained through experience.
I personally have taken almost every antidepressant
known to man and they have all complicated the problem...
The only true happiness I had found was without the pills when
I had decided to completely alter my ever thought to see only optimism.
After approx. 2 1/2 years of doing this I was in a state of bliss.
That isn't to say pills don't work for everyone as I have
said it is all in how you see things!
If you truly believe there is a magical pill that makes
you happy and you take this pill you will likely be happy!!!
It is all in your perception.
I was going to become a Psychologist and had studied
it (And several other mind/brain studies) for about 5 years and
by 9th grade decided to take an advanced class in the subject
in which I completely Aced the entire class without ever studying.
I finished very early as my school allowed us to work at our own pace.
Truth be told. No problem is solved with
