I agree with PastelPlum. I'm 19f, and I'm still unevolved so I'm as Scorpio as it gets.

Once I fall for someone, they're guaranteed to have a piece of my heart for a few years, but if they were just flings, they fade away after a year or two. I'm about to be in my third year of university and I have trouble remembering every single guy I dated in high school. I mostly remember the important ones like my first love and my first burn.

In college, things changed. Some things can make me fall out of love, like being distracted by another person giving me attention, my partner or whatever screwed me over, etc. But the time period when we were together kinda gets a tombstone in my mind, more or less. I compartmentalize it so I can move forward. If you screwed me over, I'd fall out fast as there's likely been someone waiting to take your place for a long time (again, unevolved Scorpio, my goal right now is to feed my ego and gain revenge whenever possible). If I'm at fault or you left me for a "valid reason," it wrecks me, and while I eventually move forward, you still keep that piece of me, and I will still ask myself what could have been every once in a while.

I have had two serious relationships. Both they were the ones to end it. I was hurt but never showed it. To fall out of "love" if I can even call it that at this point was very slow. The Virgo I dated three years was terrible to me, and so clingy but I was young and allowed it. It took me 1.5 years to be over it even though it was a mentally and emotionally abusive relationship. A libra I was with for one year was much lovelier and we had no issues but out of the blue he wanted to end it. It took almost a full year for that to fade. We are still great friends, but I had to act like it was as easy for me to be over it as it was for him to drop me.

Now as for shorter relationships, it is easier for me to go "void" as I call it. We haven't developed a deeper knowing, complete honesty and respect (usually). If I catch someone lying I lose interest immediately, drop of a pen. If they are clingy I also lose interest which I developed that distaste from my virgo I once dated because I realized how reliant he was on me afterwards. He ended it because he cheated on me. Anyways, if they are negative or too emotionally dependent I also lose interest immediately. I don't like whiney people.

So I suppose it depends on the level of interest and how long we've known each other. BUT I am not a good example Scorpio. I'm not as emotional as most of them. I have emotions but avoid them because of how weak they can be. Another thing I've learned and been taught from my parents and previous relationships. Really, the Virgo I dated for three years dismantled me into who I am today, along with enforcement from my parents to be stronger. But I hope I help and was detailed! If a relationship is meaningful to me, I am all in it and devoted. But I have to KNOW them first and sense that they are sincere and honest in all things. Then the love follows.

How much truth is there in this statement "Scorpios can easily fall in and out of love". How long it takes you to fall out of love and what makes you fall out of love.

I'd bet my house 3/4 of the Scorps here wish it were that easy!

MY ANSWER: NO TRUTH IN THAT STATEMENT AT ALL.

Ohhhh man if I could do that I'd be so happy I might actually cry of happiness

Agree 100% no truth in that at all. If I love I love forever and a day

...so it is possible to fall out of love with someone whatever sign your are?

How in the name of God those women stay with men that abuse their children and plea *oh but i love him*

Wow!

Shiz any kind of child abuse would result in me being found guilty of manslaughter in the first degree

Any woman who stands by a child abuser deserves to be hung drawn and quartered

Let me put it this way, if I can simply walk away and never think of you or feel relieved, it probably never was love in the way I personally define it.

If the love was real? The time together might end but the feelings will linger for a long time. Not that you'd ever know about it though. Real love and I'm not going to be the one ending it.

I agree with that. If a person walks away without even thinking about the other person then that wasn't actually a "Love" in the first place.

if you can fall into it, you can fall out of it. love is a fickle thing. sometimes it is long lasting. sometimes it runs it course. i never put a time frame on it. i believe true love is built overtime and it lasts longer if it happens that way. but if it happens quickly, it can end just as quickly. what makes me fall in love? i cannot say because i have never been in love. but i have hope that one day i will. what would make me fall out of love if the feeling is not there anymore. connection is lost and i feel more miserable with a person than i do without.
