dissociative identity disorder formerly known as multiple personality disorder. I would honestly hope no one can relate here, but has this thought crossed any fellow Scorpio's mind? I've been having the hardest time getting a handle on my fluctuating emotions. I have concerned a few people with my changing faces... and motor my safety. 🙂 *jokingly. It shows when people see me in different settings like work, play, laid back social outing, etc. I think this compartmentalization has to do with my conflicting placements.

^^^^ what KOL said 🙂 I think diagnosing anything is just giving it a name, and a series of symptoms to identify with.

This really opens a new can of worms for me, that anything I am dealing with is recognized. I didn't take any notice that my personalities were so far off the hinges day in, day out until pretty recently. I've been trying to merge a few, at least find a common medium that I can regulate in times that I need to be more than one person at the same time. It's been rough to say the least. I'm tempted to capitalize on the fact that I can be on my A game in any situation, but that will get out of control and be very dangerous. I sound like such a looney right now. 😢 Yes, I've sought professional attention. Each Dr. gets to see a different person, but not more than one person since they themselves are only one person. so Frustrating!

btw, Scorporella, what are your placements? I am just observing your personality. 🙂

I think a lot on pychology and do not have a degree, but I think a whole lot about it. I also like putting this gigantic puzzle for life together on how all major thought processes in life could be true and be connected.

With regaurds to genetics, humans are an incredibly complex machines with room to adapt as nature around it adjusts. When we alter anything in the code of a human we are altering it for the sake of an image we seek to create, but where is the fit with nature for the human being altered. Could we simply be a collection of images that the environment pings us with for the particular angle we stand in? A complex collection of light signals that is a huge puzzle in a our mind, recorded as we walk through society that would simply unravel if we removed ourselves from society. Take a person from normal society and leave them with nature (like a jungle or forrest) for years with no modern environmental stimuli to ping off of and see what developes. Do the same to another human and then place them side by side after several years and notice the emotional and psychological differences/simularities. How much loss in true definition between the two would occur?

Is a soul merely the collection of stimuli that we gather and maintain through day to day reinforcement and something that could be lost? Does a soul exist then...or just a growing tapestry that would unravel without constant weaving...?
Genetic manipulation and its possible altering of intelligence only proves to me that we have no soul, but are just a trapped energy in a alterable suit. Or that our soul exists in the memories of others.

I totally believe that schizophrenia is when the mind takes the next step, the only problem is that what is seen is glimpse of what the collective cannot see. So such profound images and emotions cannot possibly be appreciated by the normal crowed and is thus placed in the category as abnormal instead of something that can be learned from. What exascerbates the problem is when the person who can see has no idea what to intperpret accurately, thus leaving them lost in translation and seeming crazy.

I actually believe there are stages in the ability to "see", but sometimes happen too early, where the ability to interpret is lost. I think some elders can "see" and it is natural for it is the elevated state of consciousness that is reached, a potential for all humans to reach.

Trauma helps us to dig into consciuosness because there
