Do you follow astrology to find a match?

Do you get insight through astrology first to find a match? Or do you get to know someone first and as soon as you find a red flag, then search into it? Base meeting people with a certain zodiac?

I guess it's good to take observations to who you do and don't get along with, and track what worked and what didn't. Otherwise people would just continuously go in loops.

Example: My boyfriend has only ever dated Virgo women (he is Taurus) They all have hurt him in some way. But he still ended up finding a Virgo, knowingly. It never worked, some not even friendship, some love to try and stay in his life. He said they were all very hard to trust, lacked loyalty and devotion to him. I think he finally came to his senses that they are not worth his time and got himself a Scorpio (me).

Because of this, people are a little dizzy in the head.

If I'm ever single again, I will definitely pay attention to astrology. There are a couple of signs I will run away from, and if I miss out because of it, then I miss out because of it!

Noooooo. Astrology is pure fun for me. I don't look for certain signs to date, or think 'Wow, he sounds like such a -insert sign-, I guess this probably isn't going to work', or the other way around. I think it's neat to look at charts and see how they should act, but I don't take it for truth and I don't think any differently of anyone because of their sign or placements. Everyone is different. I've never met any gemini, for example, which were the same as any other gemini I've met before. It's like that with every sign. If you take astrology seriously, then you also have to realize that there are more things that shape a person besides their charts, such as their environment, experiences, injuries, mental illness, etc. So many different factors.

Sure, it's fun to think 'Oh, look, most of my friends are fire signs.' Or, you can get even more specific. But, that means very little to me. My friends are their own person. They are not a leo, libra, etc, first, second, or whatever else.

Astrology is one thing, upbringing, life experience (real world) is key to inner personalities. I'm open to any kind of match that is compatible, comfortable and enlightening. It's actions I watch for - red flags - including inaction. If the actions are negative..and consistent, or if I'm doing all the work (inaction on the other's part)it's a factor once the relationship is rolling. Astrology helps, but any sign you are suppose to be compatible with can be really messed up which eventually purges/reflects outward. Time/patience, always tells. For some, sooner for others, later.

When it comes to romantic conquests..I can't help it but I run from Leo, Libra & Aquarian men. I just can't deal with them (romantically.) ..But as friends, or for business..its all good.

Well I talked to a man who has been married 3 times, he told me how they were all cancer women, which he never looked into. He says all of the marriages have escalated to unhappiness and divorce of course. He said if he knew sooner he would have maybe steered away from a cancer woman (he is aquarius) cause all 3 marriages turned out the same. That is what I mean by avoiding loops, getting into similar situations/relationships by staying attracted to only one sign in the zodiac. I think it can give a little guidance. Yes we are more than a birth chart and a zodiac sign. It's just interesting. Getting married 3 times is your whole life. I would not want that to happen to me.

I guess it's just an ironic life, to have married 3 different woman who all had birthdays in the same zodiac. And they all failed. I guess I'm looking at how people interact through astrology, I've heard of marriage counsellors and psychiatrists using methods of astrology. I've never looked into much detail of how often people in those professions use it, but it's interesting.

I see astrological patterns and once I find out someone's chart, I do use it as a road map of sorts, but (like the others said) it's hardly an end all be all.

Not really but after asking basic questions like, "when is your birthday?" I noticed that ALL or most of the guys who are attracted to me are all Cancers
