Dreams...

Anyone have any really interesting dreams lately? Do you normally dream in color or black/white or both?

Lately I have been having a lot of weird, short nightmares. For instance, giant ants whose heads I was trying to slice off for some unknown reason, but the damn heads wouldn't come off.

I used to have a horrible recurring dream wherein my jaw would become locked down so tight, and it would get tighter and tighter and the pain would increase so much that in the dream I was trying to scream, and I was clawing at my jaw in the dream, but couldn't open my mouth at all, and then I would wake up in a panic. That was weird. Had that one for a few months off and on, but haven't had it in quite a while.

I have never, ever once dreamt in black and white. In fact sometimes my dreams are so colorful, I can't even verbalize how cool it is. One time I had a dream that I was in this huge mansion, and every imaginable color was everywhere I looked, and EVERYTHING was striped! It was cool. But kind of odd, because all I did was walk around marveling at all the colors.

LOL. .holy! Geez woman, and I thought I had weird dreams! LOL

Ok ok, I did have this really crazy nightmare myself where Rebecca Gayheart (from Urban Legends movie) was chasing me around a ping pong table in that jacket she wore trying to kill me. Then Jason came in and everything went to hell from there, though luckily I woke up before anything really terrible happened.

Several times I've had dreams where I'm late for class in high school so I'm running around getting dressed in the hallways and trying to figure out what class I'm even supposed to be in! LOL..that's hysterical.

But my latest and best dream was with Tom Cruise although unfortunately there was Penelope (damn, I wish I was in her place) and we were all three in the same room together laughing and smiling about something. ..I haven't a clue what..lol.

Yes, please everyone you must share since we've bared our souls to you.

LOL--watch out for the Noxema girl! She'll GETCHA!! hehe...what a pleasant Tom Cruise dream. Next time tell him to come visit me when I'M sleeping. lol.

I used to dream about going to class in only my underwear (which I know is a universal dream, but still highly disturbing, lol). But it always seemed like the only person who noticed was me! I'm thinking, "what's wrong with this picture here...?" ha.

LOL. .exactly! I don't get why I'm the only one who ever appears fazed in my dreams about stuff. It's kinda disturbing.

I suppose the influence of Mars is responsible for the large number of dreams in which I'm in some sort of battle, conflict or competition. The ones I remember most vividly are ones in which I'm starting to die but wake up just before the moment of death.

Sometimes I have premonition dreams where I'm attacked by some sort of animal. They usually warn me when someone is planning an attack against me. The one I remember most vividly is the one in which I was up in this huge, huge tree with 10 foot diameter branches and these 2 tigers attacked me and made me fall. I can still remember their roars. Sure enough, a day later 2 people at work had me fired without reason or notice.

This morning I had a dream in which a willing female and I covered ourselves in Cool Whip and ate each other clean. I'm pretty sure I was asleep. Maybe not. Tee hee. (*innocent smile)

The one I have been having is with you in it!!! And you are wonderful!

If so, first of all, sorry about the late response here, this thread dropped down and I forgot to check it until now.

Secondly, I find your dreams fascinating. Sounds to me like you're a touch psychic--and very much having Marsian manifestations in your sleep, what with the conflicts/warring themes.

Last, but by no means least, thank you ever so much for living out our Cool Whip scenario in your mind, because now I know I'm not the only one. ; ) Except I "dreamt" about it late, late at night...well, you get the picture. lol!

Could it be that you are "running away" (figuratively speaking) form an issue or a person in your waking life? I thought that I had read something like that before, that being chased is symbolic of a problem "chasing you" in real life.

Don't know what the aliens or dinosaurs represent though.

P.S. I have mansion dreams a lot. Last night I dreamt that I was touring a huge pink mansion. Everything was pink & purple and every room was filled with jewels. Big, sparly, pretty jewels. It was a great dream. In it I saw my deceased great grandmother, who shares my birthday (October 25th) and who died when I was nine.

Now, I only have a rudimentary knowlege of dream interpretation. This one I have no idea what it means...any thoughts form anyone?

SPARKLY, I mean.

This has become quite an interesting topic.. I have had MANY dreams about being in big houses. In one of the dreams the doors of the house had no door handles. In another there were no doors at all and I had to climb through the cupboard to the next room. Another dream had lots of broken glass in the bath... Another had a maze of passages...

I-ve often wished someone could interpret my dreams...

In all of my dreams lately, I am in either a desereted underground parking area late at night, and I am running because I feel I a being chased but there is no way out! When I do finally find a way out it is a dead end. Very creepy and seems so real that when I wake my heart is pounding and I can sometimes smell things, like gasoline etc. And I remember the color of the lights in the parking area being a weird pink flourecent color.

One dream I use to have that reoccured constantly as a child, was of being chained at the end of a hall way in some kind of hospital. I would get away and run down the end of a very long corridor. Just when I was at the end, two orderlies would show up with a stretcher and back I would go to do it all over again.

One last and final one, I witnessed someone I knew murder his grandmother. This one I had anaylized because it bothered me so. I was told it may represent a betrayal of a close friend. They were very correct, but I would have never connected the two!!! The people in the dream were not the friend that betrayed me!

Sometimes the dreams are very detailed oriented. Numbers on mailboxes that I can remember or phone numbers written down on paper that I can still recall when I wake up. One was about a dog being hit by a car and the number was 223 on its collar and I even had the what type of dog. My mom and dad's neighbor's dog was hit by a car and it was the same dog I saw in my dream and the number on the mailbox of the owner was 322 the same in my dream but upside down. The dog in the dream was lying on his back so it could have been

I believe if you do a search on the net you will find some sites that will do a rough interpretation of your dreams. I have tried it once and sometimes it can be done and sometimes not!!!! Depends on their data bank, I would imagine. Dreams are so subjective, it is hard imagine any two being the same! IMO
Being they are our own individual thoughts!

My friend told me an interesting dream she had just recently about her and another friend of mine running from two men who were chasing them. They lost each other while running, and one of them was surrounded by the two men who were up in her face. Somehow, she managed to escape and find her friend. Then, she woke up. Wonder what being chased means.

I had a dream this mornin that was so intense that by the time it was over I was so dizzy from rushing that I almost passed out, really! yeah, baby! I'm in love!

i had a dream about E.T. and like..it was all around me LOL it was FUKIN HUGE. frealz... -_-LuZ

Dreams are so freaking fascinating to me...(luz--E.T.--cracks me up girl)...I wish I knew more about them but I will just chalk it up to one more thing I need to read up on!
