Anyways, my Aries best friend lashed out at me maybe a month ago...we have this sarcastic manner between us and we make jokes but apparently she had been taking my jokes to heart. never let on or anything, so I was oblivious. Then out of the blue she said something along the lines of honestly you're always make rude comments about my appearance and relationship and I know my relationship is bad but it's my choice. and you make me self-conscious. I was completely baffled and was like "wtf?" and so she proceeded to give me examples because I was clueless about what the hell she was complaining about, and so I rebutted. She once in front of some of my other friends told me "I don't even know how your dumbass is going to graduate" or "don't you ever want to wear makeup" and all kinds of other comments. I never took those comments to heart really, because I knew she meant them as jokes (Well the graduation one was a joke- the other one wasn't completely a joke lol). I brushed it aside. But once she tried blasting me for things that I wasn't even serious about, and I HATED how her ex boyfriend treated her so of course I'm going to voice it!! He treated her like garbage. He was a nice guy, but he was just an idiot when it came to relationships and he stifled every good part about her. She also made fun of my voice (I'm monotone) or shed always comment on my voice, and I'm already self-conscious about it. When I am wounded I keep it inside as well, so I never voiced that either until this uproar. The fight was undeniably changing in our friendship.
After that fight. Things have not been the same. I kind of detest her. How could she think I was ever trying to make jabs at her? She calls me "crusty" and whatnot all the time, and I know it's a joke. I don't take it to heart, but ever since then I don't joke with her at all, because things that should not have been taken seriously were taken seriously even though she said the SAME things to me most of the time, and I never felt "attacked". It is almost like I can't have fun with her now, because I never know when she will be offended. I am still her friend, but it's almost like walking on eggshells. I don't want our friendship to end, so now I am being extra cautious but it sucks at the same time because I feel like I can never be the same with her in case she takes offense to it. I really valued our friendship. She was and still is my best friend for crying out loud!! But I was just hurt that she would ever think I meant poorly of her...and her saying identical things to me...I just don't get how it was ever misconstrued because we always behaved the same way and obviously we weren't always sarcastic and lifted each other up and encouraged each other. now in order to maintain the friendship, I just can never be sarcastic or make jokes. I have a very sarcastic way about me, and for sensitive people I just cannot risk that behavior. It is almost like I had to build a wall in order to keep her as a friend. I know she's completely over it, but I keep it in my mind and remember how she was upset. I don't want her to be upset, so I just won't joke period. Better safe than sorry. I never want to lose our friendship over a stupid sarcastic joke or comment.

I have this mix of resentment and commitment to her as a friend. It is a hard transition. I am sure I will be over it eventually, but I still will never be able to be sarcastic or joke with her the way we once did. And we are both very sarcastic people. I still go along with her jabs though to make things feel normal, but I know that they are not normal...
Honestly, I would address the issue. I feel like if my friend gave me permission to be myself again I would, but I won't bring it up. I will just move forward. Maybe if you bring it up he will be forced to address it. Sometimes, I know personally, I can be evasive of issues and hide from them by trying to fix them myself, but it is not always ideal. If confronted with the issue I am forced to address it and solve it. I am sure he just feels slighted. Keep bringing it up until you know it is completely mulled over.
Some Scorpios hold grudges though. If he's one of them then that might be the real issue at hand depending on who started the fight. I remember your old thread but I can't remember how the fight you guys had started. I definitely don't hold grudges personally. Instead of being the Scorpio who uses the stinger to attack or protect themselves, I am moreso the Scorpio who uses her stinger to curl up in a little ball and protect herself that way. My pain is internal and never external. I never allow it to be, because I never want others to feel pulled down by my sad moods or that they have to cheer me up. I handle it on my own time.
I wish you the best. Seeing this post kind of makes me realize I should try to open up to my Aries friend. She is my best friend, but I just don't want to risk hurting her again and losing her friendship forever even though we are both equally to blame for our sarcasm.

Yes, over silly things. I have tried for so long to keep a calm disposition. Arguments, or disagreements many more times. However, honestly I stayed quite to keep the peace. Calling it a night driving home so many times, I thought to myself, your being used and abused, better figure something out. I tried and tried. We both are very spiritual, yoga, meditation, etc.. peaceful. However, maybe just the stars and timing triggered something.

Reading this board, investigating on why they behave the way they do, I have come to certain points of my own. Firstly, this is my own personal view and please do not take any offense to my post.
One thing I am not able to understand about your sign is the communication, Taurus doesn't have a clue on how to communicate. They will tell you without any explanation to why? So, one has to be mature about it and accept this. However, later you want to be fwb and then later stop that also? You may question, maybe you didnt do it for her? Well, I asked if she was not satisfied in any department. She said no she was good with everything. Maybe, just to keep the peace? I do not know.
What I do know is that when you reach a certain age, if your getting into any other persons life you should be clear and discuss EVERYTHING. She always shy'd away.
Everyone finds their sleeves at a point in life (hopefully).
