I met a Scorpio girl a week or so ago and there was an instant connection between us, and I immediately sensed she was drawn to me. I started to play the alpha male role, being very laid back and being good company with her friends, not giving her too much attention, not being clingy, etc. I've noticed she's attracted to me, likes to catch my attention, is a total sweetheart but also knows how to make a guy feel non-existent at times (which makes me like her even more haha πŸ˜„ ). I'm very attracted to her but I haven't had time to develop strong feelings for her, and as a result I've found myself in situations where very attractive women are trying to win me over and I almost cave in because I've had the single mentality for about 6 years.

I'm at a point in my life where I'm very outgoing and like to inspire others, bring out the best in them and grow mutual respect for each other, and I know that this type of personality can make a Scorp very jealous, but that isn't my intention at all. Would that be a problem for her, provided she knew deep down I am a loyal person who likes to be friendly to everyone?

I know I could commit fully to her if things were to come to that, but I'd really like to know what I can do to "help" her make the right decision πŸ˜‰ I don't mind waiting, but the anticipation is a bit unnerving :/

Here are our charts. I was a bit worried about her Leo moon. I love Leos but generally speaking I wouldn't be the best partner for them.

Thank you πŸ™‚ that's definitely how I've been with her, which is unusual for me because I often find myself thinking I would like someone, but once I win them over I realize it was just my mind elevating the idea of having someone without *truly* wanting them. With her I know I would be proud to call her mine.

The issue is, in person, I feel like the super charismatic charming guy that could make her life the roller coaster ride she's looking for, but when we text each other I've made the mistake of slipping out my feelings too soon, fortunately only subtly. (Example: She said she was going to take a nap because she was really tired, and I said "Ok sleep well! Sweet dreams"... maybe I'm over-analyzing the scenario, but I feel like she would pick up on my interest in her much faster than other girls would, and possibly lose the desire to chase me.)

Ehhh...

Mercury in Aquarius sqaure Mercury in Scorpio.

Your ability to detach from your thoughts and emotions during a conversation may end up driving her nuts, and leading to arguements as she'll want to relate to things on a much more personal level.

I'm interested in how that may play out with your Mars in Taurus and her Mars in Libra, as far as arguements go.

Also, be cautious, because that Leo moon can be attention seeking, and her Mars quite charming. She's possibly a party goer, and may like to get herself in trouble, being a Scorpio woman. That may be a bit uncomfortable for a Cappy Ascendent and moon.

Hm I could definitely see those arguments happening. I definitely detach from my words very often, but when I'm close to someone the feelings bring me back down to earth. And as for the trouble it really depends on the context, as long as it doesn't lead to ruining my reputation, losing good friends, or prevent me from achieving a valued goal in life, I think my Cap moon could handle it.

Basically I like to be the diplomat... She told me she has the tendency to be the "mom" of the group, which is funny because sometimes I feel like I'm the dad. But the cool dad that everyone likes πŸ˜›

Pisces w/cappy moon

Sounds like the stoner dad, whose chill while still being stern.

HAHAHAHAH oh man that is so funny! I daydream about throwing massive house parties (though not as the center of attention), and having an awesome basement with a crazy sound system and awesome lighting for whatever mood the music may bring. But at the same time I want to have a meaningful, successful career that contributes to society. I'm TERRIBLE with time management, but I'm actually very mentally disciplined and I never realized it until a friend told me. I could walk into a strip club and not feel tempted at all, though I'd probably try to make the girls swoon over me just for the fun of it.

What I've realized is that I can do things that are often looked down upon because I don't let them control me. I can drink and do drugs and party and not let it destroy my life or ambitions. My Virgo room mate is always dumbfounded at how nonchalant I can be about controversial things, while I find it very hard to identify with how strongly his thoughts affect him, sometimes to a debilitating extent. He had to leave the room once because he was so tempted at the thought of hooking up with one of my very attractive friends. He later said it looked like I have a history with her, I said yeah we had sex a couple times. His jaw dropped because I said it so casually.

. Things are moving sideways, neither good nor bad. I went to the bar she works at several times in a row, and whenever she has time she comes over and we make small talk. When she has to serve drinks for other people she always does cute little dances for me πŸ™‚ she joked that I have a lot of competition to be a regular, and I said "It's okay, I'll win in the end," and smiled. But it makes me feel awkward (inwardly) because she bartends at the club I always go to, and we can't dance while she's working, which is like Thursday to Sunday.... I find dancing by myself pretty unexciting, unless the music is really good. Dancing with other girls is a bad idea, so I'm mostly limited to talking. Quite a dilemma, since I'd like to be able to spend time with the person I'm dating, not be thinking about what could be happening if she were there.

Haha! The Scorp girls love a pisces man! I love it. I just found out about you guys and I have to say--what a revelation. You guys are so cute! *girlish giggle*

But alas, I have come to the conclusion that the pisces and me are just going to be like two ships who have passed in the night. Oh well, it was fun while it didn't even get started. πŸ˜›

I definitely like the Scorpio/Pisces combination. Scorpio's jealousy makes Pisces feel loved, but the need to possess can overwhelm a Pisces and make us swim away. Also, a clingy Pisces can make a Scorpio lose interest very fast. As long as it doesn't get out of hand I think it would work great. It just tends to be all or nothing, which makes casual relationships hard.

Is the Scorp into Astrology as well? They say knowing is half the battle. Good luck. πŸ™‚

Not sure, probably not more than just the names of the signs.

and be consistent with her. i cannot stress this enough (as you're a pisces), but your earthiness shouldn't have a problem with it. πŸ™‚

Consistency is only a problem for me in the beginning, which is why I tend to have shaky starts to relationships, but once it gets going it's pretty stable and almost always happy. Of the relationships I've been in (mostly Capricorns), each has only had one or two major arguments

Quick summary, I've moved on, in search of greener pastures. I like her intensity, passion, and love of life, but our personalities were polar opposites sometimes, probably our moon signs clashing. She didn't understand why I found her love of shopping amusing, and my tendency to be emotionally detached from my words confused her a few times. I found her Leo moon endearing though, quite possibly because my mom is a Leo. She would have preferred if I were aggressive about certain things that I don't feel the need to be aggressive about, for example being pushy when trying to walk through a crowded area--as much as I like to get where I'm going, I'd rather go with the flow and be courteous than run people over.

She'll make a great friend though, I'm finding that Scorps are awesome friends πŸ™‚ I actually met a Scorp, we clicked instantly which is very unusual for me, since I have very different perspectives about a lot of things. It's very much a yin and yang relationship, it's peaceful but nonetheless there's a strong contrast between our personalities. He likes to charge in both guns blazing, whereas I tend to examine the situation and find the best strategy first.

I can almost see the thread " Scorp woman...my pisces man swam away from me" title now ... πŸ™‚

Hahah πŸ˜› well we were never dating in the first place, just testing the waters. I noticed she very subtly got glum when she saw me with another girl, but was pretty good at hiding it, kept an upbeat attitude outwardly and pretended not to be phased by it. I don't want to hurt her feelings, but I don't think she was interested enough in me. I think the jealousy isn't so much from interest in me, than wondering why I moved on so quickly and didn't try to win her over. I've bruised the egos of quite a few really nice girls :/ I really wish I could be in a stable relationship so I could avoid these things, but my expectations for a significant other are unrealistic, so those can be hard to find.

I'm so confused. πŸ˜›

I thought you were dating? But it seems you decided she was insensitive or something, right? But then again you don't think she liked you enough? (not sure what that means) Also, you didn't feel the need to be more aggressive about things--like what I wonder? (not that its any of my business πŸ™‚

Then you came into the place where she works with another woman mere days after whatever happened that caused you to swim away happened, right?

Honestly, I feel that there is way more to this story, but if she thought you were dating or you had been dating and then *poof* you come into the place she works with another woman, that's not really bruising her ego--its more like humiliating her which I'm sure you didn't mean to do. Doesn't matter. You just did the cardinal sin against the scorp which is play games through jealousy. Greener pastures really are your only option now.

.I wish you all the luck in the world (seriously) πŸ™‚

We weren't dating, but she showed a lot of interest at first. Then we went on a trip together, and she didn't like my go with the flow personality. She would blitz through a crowd of people at an outdoor concert, and I would follow along and catch a glimpse of someone trying to catch up with their friend, and couldn't help but let them go first. Then an entire train of people would cut in front, and next thing I know I'm stuck lagging behind and she would have to wait. Happened a few times, wasn't a big deal, but I know she's looking for a more aggressive guy. I can be pretty upbeat and intense, but my emotions have a lot of inertia; it takes a lot to bring me up, and a lot to bring me down.

Yes I showed up with a date about a week later, but she had already started dating her friend, at this point she decided I didn't pass the test. When I bought my date a drink, it was to be upfront about it, if she saw me buying a girl drinks from another bartender it would have looked much worse. I didn't mean to humiliate her or play games, but I know she was hurt that I moved on so fast. However, she gets along great with her Aries boyfriend. He's a great guy, extremely fun, upbeat, very magnetic personality, so they get along great, but I know she doesn't like how he shuns his deeper feelings instead of embraces them. She's doing a pretty great job of whipping him into submission though

I concur with "intrigued"..buy some fertilizer for the pastures while you are at it.

You based your actions on assumptions that she wasn't interested. "I think" is an assumption. I know is a fact. One other fact...you are very correct in saying you will not be in a stable relationship due to the fact that you state you bruise egos of nice girls and you have unrealistic expectations. Until you become a man, and understand what a lady is, may I suggest you go after the babes who offer themselves up on a silver platter who don't give a rats ass about you or themselves? Keeps the nice girls nice, and the other's well, right where you seem to be... Perhaps when you see the emptiness of that, you will be able to better define what a relationship is and what a meaningful one can be.

Ok gotta clear up a few things.

Bruising their egos is never intentional. It takes time for me to figure out whether I like a girl, and if I don't, I won't show interest, it's dishonest and can end in a total mess. A lot of times it's a personality clash that I quietly pick up on, and they take it as if I don't find them physically attractive. I try to explain myself whenever possible, but a lot of times they walk away or are too caught up in the moment to listen. This isn't common, I'm just saying it's happened. I don't like it, but I can't help but notice and feel bad.

All of my relationships have been stable, I do understand what a lady is, and perhaps I'm not a full-blown man yet, but I'm damn far ahead of a lot of others my age. The issue is never keeping it going. I've had fewer fights than fingers on one hand, and all of my relationships have ended peacefully. The issue is getting it going, and that includes meeting someone and figuring o

... figuring out whether you're compatible. When I said unrealistic expectations, unrealistic was a bit too strong of a word choice, and expectations wasn't meant to imply that I demand something. I won't force, or expect, anyone to change. There are just some things that I find important in a relationship, and I won't chase something if I'm fairly confident it won't end well. I know some of this probably sounds crazy to a Scorp, but as a Pisces I usually trust my gut instincts.

As for meeting girls... I'm not shy, I don't have approach anxiety, I just tend to be quiet unless a meaningful or interesting conversation pops up, and I usually find small talk boring. I've had deep conversations before, but it can be hard to get that going, it helps a lot if the girl's a nervous talker πŸ™‚

The biggest issue is that I live in a town that is almost entirely 18-22 year olds trying to hook up. That's where my Cap moon and rising step in, and it's probably saved my Venus in Pisces from a lot of heartbreak.

Sorry to hear this. Aries (no offence to my Aries brethren) instead of a Pisces? Girl....what are you thinking.!? πŸ˜›

She screwed up and she knows it. Now she's saving face. I could go into the whole Scorp women choosing the easy option when they are young, but its a long story and I don't feel like wasting my time. My two cents anyway. Thanks for the rest of the story. πŸ™‚

Thanks πŸ™‚ as much as I love her Scorp personality, the Leo moon is really foreign to me, really clashes with my Pisces side. The materialistic side just doesn't make sense to me. She did like that I could give useful opinions on her outfits πŸ˜› hahah
