Just curious here. How long does it take you to get ready to go somewhere and get out the door?

My Scorp male cousin takes FOREVER! He keeps getting distracted about all the little things that need to get done before he can leave. Famous last words "I'm gotta do this, it'll only take a second". That second ends up taking 30 minutes. He needs to be told to be ready to go an hour before you really intend on leaving. Thats the only way he'll be on time.

I tend to see this trait more in Sags. He has NO Sag in his chart, and not on the cusp either.

Wondering if this is a Scorp thing or an ADD thing on his part.

Really depends on where I'm going, if I really want to o or not, if I am tired prior to getting ready and who (if I am) meeting up with.

Where: If it's something that requires my attendance and I want to make an impression I'm up and out within or under an hour.

If I want to go or not/If I am tired: I have been known to take 2-3 hours because I am "taking breaks" on the couch while getting ready.

Who I am Meeting: My friends are known for being tardy, so I take my time. A little over an hour in this case.

Obviously, the consensus shows that a person could/would be ready in a half hour, or less ....

this isn't about how long it takes a person to get ready to go somewhere .. it's about stalling.

Attention would be a likely reason why a person would stall ... probably the more he stalls, the more attention he gets from people around him.

I'd be willing to wager that if people stopped waiting for him, and prompting him to get ready and be there .... if people just carried on without him .... his song and dance would change.

I didn't think that was a scorpio trait.

scorps in general strike me as action people. with the exception of my sister and your cousin lol. my lil sis is soooooo slow i wanna gouge my eyes out sometimes. there's no force on this earth that could get her to move faster.

the scorp bf is ready in minutes and unfortunately for him, it's his biggest pet peeve when im not ready on time. lol either i have add or i do it rebelliously as he's checkin in every 5 minutes with the progress. guys dont need to do much though. he's already hot too, no matter what... just throws on a t-shirt, jeans, sneakers, smushes some pomade into his hair, sprays cologne and he's done. So I have a hard time feeling bad lol in fact... im so jelly over it

i notoriously make due with 10 minutes almost every morning... still lookin good, but i could take 2 hrs to get ready if you let me. 😛

It takes me 20 minutes from waking up to be on my way to class... that includes packing my bag, making lunch and skulling some luke warm instant coffee. My scorpio ex used to take forever because he would be wondering around aimlessly like he had forgotten what he was doing. He was a smart guy, but something about getting ready paralysed his mind. It was actually pretty hilarious to watch.
