I think I'd pick Australia, as it's a warm country with lots of beaches a lot of diversity and a non-pussy culture, from what I've heard. Plus, it's located in a pretty interesting part of the world.
Second choice would be New-Zealand, for pretty obvious reasons.
Hmm...hard question really..there are so many places I would like to live in for the short term..but long term it would have to be a country where you see sun mostly and also the different seasons, it would need to have a strong economy, it would also need to accommodate my career...so I guess it would have to be...erm...USA, would like to think Hong Kong..simply because I have been watching a lot of films in Japan and there are so many buddhist temples around for the peace and serenity when one needs to get away...And Australia/New Zealand also
"i think i would like to reside in every country, one year over, leaving out the ones where its too violent>>wars etc."
That's cheating!
"""Why is that?""
Well, I admire the inclusivist culture, sound of the language (which I'm dying to learn, btw), not to mention the sphere of influence it has maintained in the Pacific Rim.
Aside from that, it houses the fashion capital of the world!!! "
because i have a certain appreciation for the language, and would like to learn spanish spanish, the kind from spain. and talk with that little "thhhhh" thing they have going on. it's the only place you can get away with having a lisp w/o anyone picking on you. (i don't have a lisp - but that doesn't mean i wouldn't like to try it out w/no strings attached, come ON). also, the climate in southern spain is HOTTTTT, i like hot weather. i heard from a spanish guy i knew that their concept of time is different than the norm in america, for instance it isn't unusual to stay up until 5:00 in the morning during the week where he lived...where the hell was his hometown (i should know this)...all i know is that it was in southern spain. i'm gonna shoot myself when i remember. i usually stay up pretty late so i wouldn't mind that, or the parties...
when i said "the kind from spain" all i meant is that i want to learn dialects that are actually from spain, rather than american spanish or spanish from latin american countries
"It is Spanish, but in Spain they don't call it Spanish because the Catalan, Basque and Galicians are Spanish too but that doesn't mean they speak Castilian."
Hmm,i don`t wanna imigrate to any country,i want to stay home but travel every month to different country..i would like to stay in Colombia, ecuador or Argentina for a while maybe Mexico too (i am into the latin countries as you see)..as for Europe,Spain is my favourit.
i hardly watch any tv, to be honest. not because i don't have time to, just because i prefer to do other things. i'll probably never watch american body shop unless i get really bored and it happens to be on at the time. that happens all the time with shows i think will be good, and movies too.
i still haven't seen happy gilmore...or just about any other movie that you could think of...
