when my EX husband cheated. it wasn't the affair itself that saddened me, it was his denial of it. he completely lied and said this woman was stalking him, lol. we'd been together 20 years and i'm pretty sure he was faithful up until then and so i figured this wasn't some skanky bitch....and she's not.

but it was his lies that killed it for me. having someone you've known for half your life look you right in the eye, drained of colour and lying through his teeth. shameful.

i hate getting caught out on something but if i am, i have to own it cos i can't do the looking in the eye of someone whilst spewing bullshit stuff at all.
