moving forward

have you ever wanted to date someone and couldnt good bring yourself to be with that person because that person used to be in a relationship with your friend? your mind is so fixated on what your love interest has done with your friend that it prevents you from making a move? almost like an obsession.

the reason why i ask is this...

i used to date a pisces and he was just nonexistent in the relationship. we were never official, but we hung out alot, he was funny. the pisces friends used to hit on me but i ignored them. his friend (my old scorp) used to make subtle comments to me but i laughed him off. i didnt think he had any feelings for me.

after a few months, the scorp made a move on me and i let him. i didnt think anything of the scorps feelings and thought he just wanted to smash. only to find out days later that the scorp was really into me. nothing really progressed between me and him, but the scorp used to always talk about the pisces and he was very interested in what was going on in the relationship. down to the nitty gritty. he even wanted to know about dates between me and the fish and if hands were held. i knew what he was up to and i called him out on it.

fast forward to around this time. i think the scorps behavior towards me was severly influenced by the pisces. the scorp talks about the pisces alot to me! he always asking me if the pisces comes over to my house, etc. i havent seen that fish in months! but the fish makes up stories about this great love affair between me and him to his friends (including the scorp).

The scorp makes remarks like "you cant be with me because you fucked Bill(the fish)!" or if i tell him something special and intimate he says "im going to tell the Bill everything you said to me!"

its like hes obsessed with his friend and jealous of something that never existed. i didnt know how to get it through his skull that there was no passionate love affair between me and he fish. he brings the fish up alot...

thoughts?

oh i did my friend, i did.

me and his friends compared stories and confronted the fish about it. and he said were all crazy and that he never said anything like what we were confronting him with. he will lie to get out of a lie.

i just never thought that the scorp could be so easily influenced by the fish. even with cold hard facts.

it's still his friend. and he knows there had to be SOMETHING between you and pisces. he probably convinced himself that there's even MORE to it. we're like that. it's a curse.

there was something but it wasnt as grandiose as the fish portrayed it. i mean pisces can spin a story just like a sag. turn a short story into a novel.

there is some truth to that his imagination has become his reality.

I knew there had to be something making the scorp act so funny with you, he told you he loved you so I think he does. He probably just can't handle that fact that there was something with you and his friend but then again he knew this going in so he should have been prepared. I think the pisces has made this scorp feel as though he shouldn't want to be with you becuase of the relationship you had with the pisces, my mom is a fish and she can ad lib to a story like a mother fucker but I hope it all works out.
