So I had to get my license renewed today because it expired on my birthday yesterday. So I am in MVA and I take my mug shoot, know for the past 5 years my picture looked like I was mad at the world. So when I took this new photo the lady shows me the picture and I say "gee that is light" and she says to me "it is the light from god, he wants you to glow" so I started laughing and say "it is a nice picture. now my skin is already light, so know my mug shot makes me look "Light Bright Damn near white" LOL..... Is there such thing as a license with a good picture?

Yeah confidence is more like it. I find Scorpio women to always have that presence about them, that makes them always attractive. They usually carry that "Thing" with them, never goes by unnoticed. The Scorpio women I've met were not the best looking women but always had that presence and attraction going on.

hahaha.... Let me rephrase that. Do you think you carry the "Thing"? I do I just don't feel the need to flaunt it. I guess that can play a part in the mystery. Would you agree?

Jokes aside. I have silent confidence, I can say. I don't want to want to think of myself as that Guy really, I'm more of a smooth talker, observer, calm type dude but I've been told that there is that "Something" about me. I don't if it's the same as what men refer to as that "Thing" haha!

Yeah, I always say that knowledge of self is the best knowledge one can have. I think self knowledge gives reassurance that contributes a lot to acquiring that "Thing" we're speaking about. We all have something beautiful to give but unfortunately not everybody are aware of what they have. Therefore can not give it.

I so agree. That is why I am glad that I took the time in my busy life years ago to look inside of me. Its an eye opener when you take the time to look at you and realize what role you play in all aspects of life. Knowing how deep you are can be fun at time. I some times be around a bunch of people
I be in my zone and start my private game of who can get in a deep intellectual convo with me. The all seems so unsuspecting of my actions when I hit them with something deep they all stop stare and think before they answer. I be loving it.

Your post really made me laugh. I don't like having photos taken in booths, you always end up looking so serious or cross about something. I'm always laughing inbetween each one till the red light goes on and then I have to go all serious-faced again. It's even worse if someone is with me, I can't help but get the giggles.
I don't know how I managed to get away with it, but I have one of me smiling on my drivers license - much more me!

I think a good photo on a drivers license should be cherished - they don't happen very often!

Thank You, yes still hanging out. Out all the years of driving and taken this mug shot every 5 years I am actually happy with this license. I agree a professional phoyography is needed in the MVA.

See, I think that's what it's all about. Having that understanding can help you achieve so much. It's one of the first steps to reaching your full potential.

soooo true although its good making the choice to look at yourself the decision is hard because it require change which is hard to do. People are scared to change but seeing all the chages take place makes you really appreciate life and all it has to offer. My bestquote is "Change is good"

I think they should be taken by professional photographers with the proper lighting and professional setting, to help grasp your swagger and all. You know? 😉



OR ... you could just purposely make a goofball face for your DL pic. One of these years I'm gonna do it.

You might have to take it over. 🙂 I think the object is to try and look as natural as possible but like you said how can you when you have people waiting all around you that have nothing better to do than to watch you take your picture.

I was alone when I got mines and it was first thing in the morning before the place got crowed. Not to mention I was in a good mood.
