Scorpio Man and Aries/Taurus woman

Hi Scorpios,
I'm new here. Birthday is April 22. I have fallen for a Scorpio man, my first (Scorpio 1 though his birthday is 10/26 and some say that is the cusp of Libra/Scorpio). Wonder if any of you have experience with a cusp female like me?
He and I have both been married before, very tumultuous relationships (his former wife was/is verbally abusive). He tells me that, at age 49, I am the first woman he has ever fallen in love with and opened his heart to. Can that be true? Do I believe?
He seems so positive, peaceful and still, and NOT jealous, and yet everything I read about Scorpios is that he may just hide any negative emotions/feelings towards me.

Aries Moon + Libra Venus

Knows precisely what they need and how to go about it. However, Merc in Scorp is like a dam that holds back the emotions. If the Aries moon is able to shine through the muzzle that is Merc in Scorp, you best believe they are being genuine.

Thank you, I'm still trying to put all these pieces together, that was hugely helpful. Can I ask you more please? Baring with me, I get the Aries moon - these people tend to be more bold and certain of themselves, I understand that, I think and the merc is our communication styles, typical Scorp, going to hold back some, what about the Venus in Libra that makes this all come together or is that part of the knows what they need, is that a venus that knows what they are looking for?

I don't think he actively does. I was getting at the communication style more-- mercurial Scorpios. I've never been with one before. I wondered, in the future, if I might upset him, how/if he would communicate that. I'm emotions/heart on sleeve type. He feels like he's going against his former nature, being so expressive and romantic with me -- he even wonders at himself. He says he never thought he would fall in love in this lifetime. I found that so curious! (I probably have some trust issues, too - lol🙂 Anyway, thanks for responding. I've only learned a little about astrology in the past year or so, and I think it's pretty fascinating.

If you were born in America then you're a Taurus, not an aries. A wise a astrologer once said, she didn't believe in cusps, and neither do I.

April 19 is aries. April 20 is Taurus.

ha - i screwed up his chart the first time... we share a pisces rising sign, and i'm an aquarius moon while he is an aries moon. i don't know what will happen. i do believe him about the first love thing because i think he has been pretty clammed up his whole life. plus, he married really young and only got divorced three years ago.
however, myself having survived several intense, sometimes codependent, overly intrusive relationships, i'm no longer the type to move quickly and simply WON'T give away parts of myself, my possessions, etc. to any man. will only love as equals. feel confident and stable and happy in my ability to support myself and my children. so, if any man is to be with me, he'll need to accept me and retain his own identity. otherwise, the sea is brimming with fish! 🙂🙂
