Well the one I am with has done nothing but charge over me for 3 years. When he doesnt like something or is not getting his way, holy crap! I am never made number 1 or even number 2; he always comes first and forget about anything that pits myself and his son against each other, because I end up in the dirt. Its really too bad...it started out amazing....but this is my 4th bull and I had sworn them off years ago....this one made me think things could be different.

So about this manipulating thing...? I am really trying NOT to manipulate. If anything, I feel he manipulates me A LOT!

You two are opposite signs, there is going to be ongoing friction between you two. Both of you will need patience and maturity to deal with this. If not best to leave this as friends.

Yeah, I think we have been trying to find a way to deal with each other, but it seems maturity can not be used in our dealings with each other. At least, I feel that he cant be mature or talk things out. We are on the brink of a break-up, and I dont believe we could ever move to a friendship.

Do Cancers have the same problems with Taurus? Because his child's mom left the Taurus guy when they hit about 3 years too...

From personal experience, I can say -yes-. I've been with my Taurus for about a year and five months now, and things are still going swimmingly. Opposites really do attract. But, then again I'm a Scorpio who's more on the easy going side, I generally let him make decisions, and we never butt heads. There's literally nothing to argue about, I can't even remember ever fighting with him, because one way or another, one of us -always- compromises.
Taurus men are slow to fall in love, they take time, and develop their feelings until they're as strong as stone. This is something that as a young woman and a Scorp I greatly appreciate. Knowing that his love is genuine and sincere is nearly all I could ask for.
Everyone keeps saying friction is almost inevitable..not true. Just curl up your stinger for awhile, let yourself be soft, nurture, and things will work in your favor. As long as the Scorp woman is matured enough to look past the small issues, and realize that in the long run none of it will matter- things will be lovely for both.

It's hit or miss. I think maturity/age is a factor imo. Had a long marriage with one, and to date are very close. His venus in Gemini took over. 😢

Oh wow, I'm with a Taurus now who has a Venus in Gemini, that aspect of his chart has always scared me a little. I tell myself his moon in cancer balances it out but...that sign in that placement scares the daylights outta me. :/

Your guy's moon may be a saving grace. I dunno.. I flinch when I see Gemini in Venus now...worse Gemini in both Venus and Mars. Our marriage was dictated by his first wife, and really shot it all to hell. I don't do relationships with guy's who have a pyscho ex anymore. No exceptions.. No more back seat. After what I've been through, it's front seat only!

Ahh, I really hope so. I've always flinched when I see venus in Gemini...it just has negative connotations with dishonesty and untrustworthy behavior, you know? Oh dear, that sounds like a huge strain, it's never right for a woman totake a back seat...especially to an ex! We all deserve front seat 🙂. What sign was his ex, if you know, just curious.

At first that Taurus tenancy used to drive me insane, but overall I learned that's just a natural part of their behavior; we have to compromise a little. The one thing I'd suggest when being in a relationship with a Taurus man 😛atience. Patience. Patience.

I'm not saying they all commit dishonesty and engage in untrustworthy behavior, I'm just noting that that's a -stereotype- I see a lot for that placement. I love someone very much who has this placement, and I haven't observed any of that behavior either, I think that Taurus with Gem venus men are perfectly stable in emotion -usually- actually.

Exactly!!! My Taurus is honest in everything he says, whether he changes his mind later or not, I always know that in the moment what he's saying is in honesty and comes from a true place.

Let*it*Be: Oh my, I'm sorry 😢 That sounds like a whole lot of drama with vicious women. When they start to mess with the children that's where the line is drawn! It's sad for your ex that those women had to come in and wreak so much havoc in his life and with his family, and your decision to protect your son was defiantly the right one.

That's good, they need to be told by someone who understands their ways and vicious cycles. They should be called out by someone who's been through a lot with people like them.

Hi. Interesting write ups on the issue. As a Taurus, must say it is interesting on how scorpios view us. Patience is the key but the manipulation must stop. If you want something from a Taurus, suggest and let it sit with him. It will get done. This works on me. Ellesque is correct that our manipulation skills do not exist. Regarding lying, some do, most do not. We are honest and straight forward, but hard/difficult for us to express what we want to say.
My past relationship with a mature scorp lasted 3 1/2 years and the end we split because of mis-communication. Scorp made a conclusion on a statement I made which turned out to be wrong, a few years later when we met and talked about it.
I would suggest talking to the your Tuarus in question, unless he is completely shutting you out and being completely unreasonably stubborn.

This is how i view opposite signs. To me, they are the same, just do the same things in a different way.I dont think its the opposite/difference in opposite signs thats the attraction. i think its the core similarities.
