Scorpions & 'Night Terrors'

He's had them since young. Sleep studies revealed nothing. Paused in his teens, and reoccur when awoken now. He's very odd in that lucid state. Mean. Nonsensical. Very 'Mad Hatter'.

Scorpions, have you seen a correlation with your sign and sleep disturbances in your dream states?

i know a scorp who regularly gets night terrors and has done so more or less uninterrupted since he can remember..he's 27 now. unfortunately, i never had the pleasure of sleeping with him, so i don't know firsthand what happens although he told me he shouts out too.

i have fits sometimes. i overheat very easily and it causes seizures...like febrile convulsions but in a big girl. i just thrash around for a bit and then go back to sleep. i have to make sure it's cool in my bedroom so i have ceiling fans and aircon backup.

I often suffer from sleep paraylsis with one SPECIFIC reoccurring dream. It's actually reoccured since I started remembering dreams. I've also had lucid dreams, many times. I'd prefer my insomnia over these twisted realities.

My Scorpion often dreams horrible disasters in places I have not taken him to yet.

Wow I just revisited this topic with my Scorpio bestie the other day. She started having night terrors in like 2007 or 08 and then I stared having them as well. I remember when she first told me about them I was a bit skeptical about what was happening to her. Then maybe a year after I started having them as well very scary shit, I researched it and other people have had similar experiences , referencing the " old hag" which was present during my night terrors too. I saw scientific explanations for this as well as sprititual explanations. I am more inclined to believe the spiritual explanation because there was Evil present during these episodes.

I'm wondering, as many mention this'old hag' is there any other reoccurring 'characters' that have been noted. I have a very specific male that follows me from my reigniting dreams that ends in my sleep paraylsis.

No, he is not of a sexual nature.

He exploits my curiosity and drive I have when one challenges me.

He is short, even in the comparison to me. He has a golden undertone to his skin, and his nose has a hawk quality to it; prominent and the striking feature of his face. His eyes are slightly different each time, and usually have a golden odd sheen, that odd hazel many Capricorns hold. He's not a Capricorn though. He sits next to me in the theater with a box and a button atop of it.

He's not anyone that I recognize. He sits next to me and a friend at a theater (we usually sit in the first few rows). I'm always in the middle. He has a box and tells my friend to push the button on the box. I never remember exactly which friend that sits next to me, but it's never a particular friend every time. My friend is too scared and hesitant to. So I grin and take on the dare and push the button.

That's when I wake up, paralyzed and unable to move. I lay there for what feels like hours. I only control my eyes. Pins and needles fill my sensation and entire form.

I lay there until I fall asleep, totally drained from it.

yeah, it's defo a scorp and pisces influence thing.

i have sun, pluto and merc sextile neptune. ascendant, uranus, saturn, and moon conjunct neptune. jupiter opposition neptune. and five 12th house placements.

i want to experience a night terror again just to remember what it feels like. i wonder if i could induce one somehow.

Chocolate always does it for me. Always odd dreams.

But then again that's not always night terrors.

Thinking about it, in the pinnacle of my 'beginnings' of penning prose, he was the basis for a short story of mine... his golden hawkish features served as pieces of the character that reflected my main individual's acid flashback when he answered the door to a traveling salesman.

Maybe this is the muse I've missed in the past few years of medicating for sleep.

That makes sense my friend is a Scorp sun with other heavy scorp placements just cant reme exactly which ones and i have a Pisces moon, mercury and jupiter. We both had them around the same time and then it vanished my last one was in in 09

I've been looking into some literature about animus as recommended by exoskeleton - you'll probably really benefit from looking around too. It's interesting and feels quite fitting - psychologically speaking. There are even different levels of them too..

Hmm!

I had a series of what some would call "sleep paralysis" from age 22 to age 30.
I'd be lying in bed, waiting to get tired enough to sleep, and I'd feel a "presence"
and something would "leap on top of me" (my perception), and I'd lay there paralyzed,
struggling with every fiber of my body to break free.
Sometimes, the feeling would come on gradually and I'd be able to sit up, turn on a light,
and stop the thing from occuring. Other times, Wham! It would come upon me all at once,
hard and intense.
I am not someone who likes to use words that can not be defined, but "evil" is the only way
for me to describe the feeling when this (black) thing was on top of me.
I was always alone when it happened, and always in a dark room, waiting to go to sleep.
I don't know why it started.., nor why it stopped.
I do not believe this phenomenon can be explained scientifically. I am convinced that there
is a spiritual element to it.
