Do Scorpio Guys make good dads—

My friend's a Scorpio dad, he's the best. So nuturing (a little over-protective, but so what.)
He exposes the 3 kids to so much life, plus he teaches them depth when looking at things they encounter.

No, they are not natural caregivers. Don't get me wrong, I love my pops more than life itself, but he was not available too much until our teenage and adult years. For one thing, he always worked graveyard and he was coming in as my mom and us kids were leaving for our day.

I can remember a few times he would play 'puff the magic dragon' on the guitar or some other tunes before we went off to school. He is a talented guitarist and singer. Occassionially he would bring us home a treat from the bakery.

One summer I wanted a horse so bad that I drove them crazy. I only had 75.00 to spend, so I ended up buying this horse that I couldn't ride because it had a bad leg. He let me get it andyway and I had nowhere to keep it and he moved his favorite car out of the garage and let me keep it IN THERE!!! LOL what a mess!!!!

He was also a wonderful cook and always helped my mom out around the house. He was a pretty macho guy, but he would do dishes too etc... He always had homemade bread for us when we got home from school. Our house was the place where everyone wanted to hang out because we had the coolest parents, and they were!!!

When we got older and started to want to go to parties and date, it was my dad that always gave into us. He never held us back from experiencing love or life even if it was bad for us. He was there for us if we needed a shoulder to cry on or some wisdom; that part of his parenting was absolutely flawless!!!

He is a Scorpio through and through October 31st. He is my best friend!!! I think it has been hard for me to find someone that is as good as my pops, he is always the model I go by!

as long as you give them a reason to be great dad, scorpio or not. support him in his work, inspire him, and he will show you what he is made off. behind a great dad is a supportive wife.

I wonder though, has anyone any comments about Scorpio mothers?? That would be interesting!
