Where Do I Fit In?

Most astrologers say I am Libra/Sun and Libra moon. There are others, very few, that say I am a Libra/Scorp cusp? If I had been born on time I would have been November 3rd. Instead I was born the last week of Libra.

I have a sister who is the same Libra sun and moon, but totally different personality. I feel much more like the Scorpio than the Libra, much of the time. I also have 4 other plantes in Scorpio including Mercury, Venus, Neptune and Pluto and I have Mars in Cancer. I'm quite aware of my over emotional nature and sensitivity. On the other hand, I do like to talk things out alot! I am also artistic. When I get pissed off, I react just like a Scorpio; I sting!!!

I keep hearing people wanting to define personalities based on their sun signs. What I have come to learn is there is alot more to us than this. Anybody else feel different then their sun signs. Please, jump in. I have been told I can't imagine Scorpios nature, and I do! I feel sometimes the same way. I don't know what to think!

Our personalities are based on these factors...sun sign, moon sign, rising sign AND our beliefs and how we choose to live our lives is dictacted by our planetary placement of Saturn. Saturn is the dominator of all of these "signs". So regardless, we are actually our Saturn placement, not sun, moon nor rising. They make up a small fraction of who we are but Saturn is the "Big Daddy"!

From all that I have been reading I have never heard this(Saturn concept) mentioned by the authorities. People like Susan Miller etc... say that the planets closest to our sun sign is what defines our personality. Can't get into now, I'll try to do it later!

I can identify closely with the original poster. I was born 2 days after the crossover from Libra to Scorpio (October 25th). My moon and ascendant (rising sign) are both Libra, as well as three other planets in Libra, but I can't remember which ones now. I believe I have 2 planets in Scorpio, my sun, and another that I also can't remember. My Venus is in Sagitarius and my Mars is in Virgo.

People never guess that I'm a scorpio from first impressions. I come off much more as your basic Libra--talkative, compromising and congenial. A "good girl". LOL. I also sometimes feel like a Libra--would rather not engage in confrontations and I can see every side of almost every issue. However...I am pure Scorpio in that I have a lot of closely guarded secrets, I am ferocious when pushed, very stubborn and know what's best for me, I have somewhat of a quick temper (though people would never know because of the Libra tendency to avoid confrontation), I am interested in all taboos, and of course, the sex thing. lol.

I could go on about these strange contradictions forever! It feels very weird, to be a mixture of Libra and Scorpio.

Saturn is refered to a the 'taskmaker' planet. It is how we deal with responsiblities etc...? I don't remember all of the guidelines, but I do have Capricorn in Saturn. What does that mean?

Why is Saturn the "Big Daddy"? I was always told the planets closest to the sun were the most influential?

For the above poster. Saturn is considered "Big Daddy" because it overshaddows both a person's Sun and Mars positions. My Sun is in Sag as well as my Mars, but being that my Saturn is in Cappy I will take on the traits of a Cappy in life. Not everything mind you, but how and what we believe in life will be based on Cappy traits.

I don't know how old you are but that is important because Saturn makes it first transit when we are 29 YO or theres abouts which means that by that age you'll feel more like your Saturn placement of Cappy.

Look at some Cappy profiles astrologically and see if you don't see yourself that way? (Given of course your age) You should see yourself more as a Cap than your sun sign. It's pretty interesting. And pretty amazingly accurate. BTW a Cappy in Saturn is the strongest position which says that you're a very strong/or will be at the age of 29+ person!

LOL! I wish I was 29! I have the strongest placement in Saturn? I also have Jupiter in Saggittarius also the strongest placement for that planet. I can't give you my exact age because women never do that! I don't know what feeling like a Cappy is suppose to feel like? Although, I do take my responsibilities seriously!!!

welli am born on 3 nov and most people think i'm libran, coz i love to socialise, love parties, undecisive, hate confrontations, artistic, too flirty for my own good - on the surface though but i am a scorp deep in heart, i treasure my privacy, absolutely love sex with just one partner, jealous and all...i completely agree abt my personality with 206!!! i dunno im mixed up i think! lol ...

im pretty much the same as heather except i was born on the 23rd of october... the very last week of libra. infact some horoscopes say that im libra and some say im scorpio. believe me, i feel like what you feel too.

im also artistic, i also sting, i have quick tempers but like heather i try to avoid confrontations, and so on....

My grandmother was also born on October 23rd, and I am very, very close with her--we joke around all the time, yet have very similar standpoints on most issues and the similarity in temperment is pretty amazing. This is yet another reason, or should I say explanation, as to why I like ya so much! ; ) Wow.
