Okay this might SEEM like I'm being sarcastic but I am being serious. Just wanted to make sure you knew that before I post this. I have dated people like this, I know how to shield against them, etc. I know a lot about it.

Let's face it—we've probably all fallen prey to a psychic vampire, possibly without even knowing it. It may have been a chance encounter with an energy predator that left us temporarily exhausted, or possibly along-term vampire interaction with serious wear-and-tear effects on the mind and body.

Psychic vampirism is alive and flourishing in the world today. As consumers of energy rather than blood, vampires of the psychic kind exist in many guises but with one common trait—their own inadequate energy system compels them to tap into and feed upon the energies of unsuspecting host victims. The immediate results of such a one-on-one vampire encounter are anew but temporary surge of energy for the psychic vampire and a serious loss of mental and physical energy for the unsuspecting prey. If you suddenly feel emotionally or mentally depleted, you may be under attack by a psychic vampire. The unfortunate effects of prolonged energy loss are damage to the energy system itself and in some instances, serious illness.

Look at it as a parasite/host and it makes more sense.

The fact that it seems so sci-fi and I haven't experienced one makes less sense.
Unless I'm one o.O

I know exactly what you mean, for me it mostly like I may have dated someone and I see them around after the relationship and it just digust me to see him, or if you know someone who likes you and you are not attracted to them but they might still continue to come on to you so everytime you see them it makes you sick like ugh.........

No you're a pup iirc. 🙂
I think it's pretty open ended/open to interpretation as to who might have the markings of an energy vampire.
I'd have thought people would jump on something like this what with Vampire-esque stuff being all the rage.
With that in mind, Twilight-obsessed MILFs/Soccer Moms are most definitely up for the tagging of 'energy vampire' 🙂

wh-what? There is not a real Edward out there?

Can someone be bad for your health? I swear everytime I see this guy I feel ill.
Its not love sickness.....just dont feelwell in myself. Arrrghhh!!

Its called emotional distress, if someone makes you feel this way by being in their presence avoid them at all cost, pure and simple.

There is no other answer for you I'm afraid, we all have had similar experiences and that is the only solution. You have two options.

Avoid or Continue Contact.

Recognize how each option will make you feel and proceed from there.
