Venus in Scoprio

How does a person with a venus in scorpio express their love and affection to someone he is attracted to? What do they find attractive?

I find it hard to discern his feelings. He reveals nothing. I guess he wants to have the upper hand so he won't feel vulnerable.

I have read they are game players, intensely emotional and sexual, yearn for a deep soulful loving bond (a feeling that touches them to the core), and are prone to jealousy, and highly value loyalty, privacy, and commitment.

I welcome anyone's insights who a has scorpio placement or has dealt with one.

my venus is in scorpio and i totally agree with everything except the game playing, but that is probably because my sun is in capricorn, and my moon is in taurus.

I believe you were right about the guy not wanting to feel vulnerable, but as all the others have said, it may not be so much about game playing. Venus in Scorpio placed people are all or nothing lovers, and I trust that you may understand this, so if you like, they can seem to handle life like a game of poker in that they won't show their cards. If you have found it hard to discern his feelings, then you know he's doing it well.

However he expresses love and affection will not matter as much as how well you do to sit back and enjoy the ride that he takes you on. Just know that any expression of affection will be strong, and most likely will be as tuned into your desires and wants as you could ask. Allow him to have his cards close to his body, and if he trusts you, then you will become his partner rather than someone who he has to keep a careful eye on at the poker table hah. And patience is a good thing, because you probably shouldn't be too hasty to assert yourself into his life before he wants it. Try to remember that if he's going to give you ALL that Venus in Scorpio has to offer, then he needs to know that none of it will be compromised. If he indicates space, then allow space, and if he implies time, then allow time.

I guess my point is that if Venus in Scorpio folks give undivided attention to the ones they love, then you could do the same, and surely that would be the best way to get the answer to your original question.

Nothing fancy. It's about committment then, really. He'll express himself by tuning all of himself into whatever and whomever he loves.

He's a Cap with a sag moon, cap mercury, gemini marsand aquarius ascendant - a grown man who is also a child at heart. His moon and mars placement balance his more intense emotions. He's playful, acts silly to poke fun at himself, and gets a kick out of teasing me.

Elliot ~ your description is accurate. You've made me see he has a serious approach to love and intends to play for keeps. I sense he isn't one to be played with or else a betrayal of trust would warrant a deadly sting.

Oh yes, he knows how to read my mind and knows how to push my buttons. As you said Elliot, "He'll express himself by tuning all of himself into whatever and whomever he loves." It is hard to hide anything I feel from him. It's eery - I think he knows me better than I know myself. He can detect most of my moods. I have never felt this exposed before.
