Why So Intense?

Why do you scorps have to be so intense with everything....I mean can't you talk normally without being so dramatic? Its like having a shouting match all the time....geez
Also...if you have been burned...even by family...do you not trust them? My dad asked me all the time if he can trust me...really first and foremost...I'm your freaking daughter and second...Virgos aren't known to be not trustworthy!

To keep my response short and sweet..If you see our intensity, that means we really love what makes us intense...if out intensity is directed at you..than we really like you. otherwise you'll be writing a whole different thread about how u can't figure this Scorpio out. Scorpios typically sit back..watch, come to some sort of judgement and then go from there. Its like waiting on a verdict...While the Jury is out, you'll know nothing but soon enough, they'll come deliver the verdict. if the Jury never comes back..you get the hint. I often watch people..decided I don't wanna pursue them and them just disappear.

The best quote to describe us is "Go Hard or Go Home" If y'all wanna try to spark something with us..the best tactic I can give you is to bet the house on 'em Normally you wouldn't wanna give your all so soon but if you don't give us EVERYTHING we'll give you NOTHING...And trust us..we can tall if you're BSing O_O

Lostinmymind- my dad is a Pisces with a scorpio moon. He is innnnteeeensee... And crazy. Too hard to even try and explain him. He advises me on everything, esp when I am not requesting advice, conversations are one sided, hardly lets me get a word in, fights with me all of the time, thinks I completely lack judgement. Humph. It's a love hate relationship. Im sure scorpio intensity doubles when it concerns your child...

Turn down some of that passion then....everything can't be that damn passionate....to yell and scream like that....its kinda ridiculous and childish...specially coming from an adult

I have to agree. Don't get me wrong, because I do love Scorps. However, their extreme displays of anger and rage are completely excessive and unnecessary. I think the reason why Cancers and Pisceans don't seem as "intense" as Scorps is that we tend to turn our anger inward or release it either by crying (in private) or through self-destructive behavior (which is obviously not good, either). Based on what I've observed (and I know tons of Scorpios), they tend to unfairly take their anger and frustration out on people around them who don't deserve it. I honestly think they need to cry more. Crying is healthy and releases toxins! The Scorpios I know have such extreme aversions to crying, even in private. Hate to break it to you, but it's obvious that you guys are extremely emotional people, and it's so clear that you're constantly holding back tears. Snapping at or blowing up at people on a regular basis is essentially the same thing as crying in front of them. You're not fooling anyone, so why fight it?

I've tried that....seems to anger the beast even more lol. There's no getting thru to him....that's why I have to walk away....which also angers the beast more 😛

I have a leo moon...I can see some characteristics...but drama is not one of them. I also have scorp rising....again I don't act like that....I'm sure my virgoness def balances the two.

But with my dad its like he's purposely trying to make me mad....like wants me to battle with him....Which is totally a mistake on his end....cause its not pretty when you get a virgo mad...not pretty at all lol

I thought having a Pisces moon lessen the intensity of a Scorpio, or with this placement it's more intense?

I had anger management problems as a kid, but my parents got me good therapy right away. As a teenager I was feisty and dramatic, but then again about 9 out of ten teenagers are.

To me the way your fathers are acting is childish. I detest displays of anger, any halfway decent scorpian would. Even when angry myself I normally contain it till I'm alone then quite possibly wreak havoc on a pillow haha. Cept the pisces in my life. My sister and pisces friend, they both know all those buttons and push em like a little kid in an elevator haha.

As for Leos? Hmmm. I haven't known tons of leos, but then ones I did were always in the middle of drama, always. So I think perhaps the same could be said for them as well as scorpios in the drama situation.

Also, if your dad are that emotional and driven by that strong of water signs, they've probably been perpetually hurt over a span of a few years, either recently or a long time ago and have never let go of it. Which is why they are so chaotic and tumultuous. That qualifies as the ever depressed and furious scorpian, continually stinging himself to death because he can't see past his pain. Quite sad actually. 😢

Having a lot of water in your chart is such a blessing and a curse. :/

To the main post..
Seeing as though you're a Virgo, being so practical and clear minded about everything may make it hard for you to understand our intensity; if not impossible. In short, it is passion that makes our relations and situations so tumultuous. However, it doesn't have to be that way, not everything has to be so dramatic. As for me? I absolutely hate drama, although it seems to follow me I have learned to cleverly avoid it. Passion can make fiery destruction, or beautiful masterpieces... I try to turn my passion into art so it doesn't explode through words or in the heat of the moment; which seems to cause long term problems. The pure depth of what is stirring inside our souls at all times is completely unfathomable to someone who isn't a Scorp. It isn't every little minor experience that causes us to lash out or explode; it's the sheer magnitude of bubbling acidic emotion stirring and flipping within us. Believe me, we try hard to anesthetize the cauldron of emotion shaking us...but at times it is bound to take effect unless we have years and years of experience in keeping it under check. It is not the people around us who cause us hurt, it is we who inflict pain within. So, take it easy on us...we try our hardest to be civil. We may seem like we are ready to strike, but in reality all we are trying to do is to prevent ourselves from becoming sitting ducks.
It's all about turning negative energy into positive for me, and transforming myself from what was to what is.

Your absolutely right! Maybe its I don't have the patience to deal with it..specially since its my dad..and we don't have the best relationship anyway.

I can always pretty much spot a leo: loud, whether it be their mouths or clothes, their attention seeking demanor, neediness, DRAMA. They need it for their stage. This leo woman I work with is soo tacky. She swears she looks good in these high label name items, mismatched.

imo virgos can be intense but portrayed in a different way. There were times I scared people with my obsession with my work and devotion to certain goals. for me that would be 'passion' not sure if I am relating to the topic at hand but just offering my humble two cents. I reserve to say that 'unevolved' virgos can be destructive outwardly and inwardly with their so called passion too.

just because you are his virgo daughter doesn't mean YOU are automatically trustworthy.
Be honest with yourself..., have you ever rebelled against your dad?
You apparently have done something to earn his distrust.

Scorps are intense because they are very deep and emotional. They just can't help themselves. When they care about someone, they tend to put their whole heart into it. Scorps are sensitive and intuitive and they do worry about trust a lot. It's just the way they are. Being a Capricorn, I too, can be pretty dramatic about things. That's why I understand Scorpios very well. U either need to be a Scorp or a Cappy to fully understand why Scorps are the way they are.
