WTF....Scorpio Man

This is a long story...
About nine months ago I met a Scorpio man online. We are from the same area. We dated for about three months. At that time, I had just fininshed ending a 5 year relationship. I know now that I was pressuring him for a relationship. He stopped talking to me for three months until one day he popped back up. Since then we have not been intimate. Daily communication via text. In May, the communication stopped. I figured he was in on of his ignoring moments so I went about my business. Last week, I got a message from him on Facebook. We were never Facebook friends. The message stated he had broken his phone and he did not have my number. He went by my house and I was not at home. I gave him my number again.
In the past he has been an asshole. Never wanting to discuss his feelings. Now I am getting
" I love you. I have loved you for a long time. I never told you because the way you treated me was not like anyone has ever treated me and it scared me at first. I missed you. I am willing to do anything to make us work and to make you happy."
We have hung out a few times last week and have plans again this upcoming week.
I do not know what to do. This man hurt me so much when he disappeared before. I never stopped caring about him. I learned to love him from a distance and we built a friendship. This is unexpected totally.
He asked me to help him open up his emotions—
Yeah I am not sure......we have a turbulent past.

Us scorpios are usually the ones pressuring someone for a relationship. It probably threw him off a bit. He was probably proceeding with caution. I used to be like that and never open with my feelings. We have a funny way of figuring things out, which doesn't make sense to a lot of people. I do know that when we say we love someone we mean it!

Question....he stated he wanted me to help him open up emotionally and he stated he is willing to learn. All of his life he has been a defensive person. How do u suggest I do this?
As far as communication, he has been 1000 times better and I have let him know I appriciate his effort because I know this isn't easy for him.

Be supportive and keep him communicating. The more he opens himself up the more he can be hurt. That's what he's afraid of. Try and get him to talk about his fears. The more he feels he can trust you the easier it will become.

Things like this just boggle my mind ..... here you are banking on what a person SAYS and not does.

People appear to have little, if any, logic

He can pull away so far that you don't hear from him for months ... but, alls he has to do is come crawling back, with any words, apparently, even ones so ludicrous as in a phone breaking as an excuse for THREE MONTH disappearance .. words that are loaded full of bullshit ....


Obviously, that's all a man has to do .... and women wonder why men don't take them seriously enough to realize that there's something to her besides emotional-spikes ...



and here you are ..... as they all come, just like you ...... and suddenly, because he knows how talk smooth to you, you're blind.


btw .... men have this smooth talk down to a science, they know that the only thing they have to do is say the word, "love" ... and you're pudding in his hands.


Just fucking boggles my mind that women are so fucking dependent upon having approval, that they are their own worst enemies .. and has no clue, they think they do nothing to cause being hurt by men.

I digress ......

My Virgo makes me feel so worthy, so secure .... that I can't even begin to grasp how women could be so, so .... needy.

I yell at every woman who cannot reason beyond the rush of feelings ... so don't think you're the only one who appears dumb as a box of rocks to men when it comes to emotional intelligence.

The same problem with a scorpio dude... long periods of pause.. and then he's after me again and seems more and more willing to stay in touch with you when he pulls the courage to do so.

I stopped to worry and wonder and guess about him, his little games and his convoluted, stupid reasons to feel insulted or show his OMG immense sensitivity.. and guess what? I became more relaxed and he gets clingier. pff..

I've always been cool around men and was stupid on my part to act differently around this one just because his misterious, scorpionic ass has to be pampered. Let him do the chase, show your cold shoulder and he might grow up.
