Advice on new connection with a Taurus man

Hello you wonderful Taureans! I already just adore some of you and want input from all of you...lol.
If you know me from previous threads you may have seen my post about joining a dating site. I have made a connection with a very neat Taurus man. He seems really nice from the short interactions we have had so far. He loves animals and actually has a zoo going on at his ranch with like two buffalo, llamas, goats, mini donkeys, horses, dogs, chickens, geese, etc etc and I just LOVE that as I am a big animal lover and advocate!
I have never dated a Taurus before. I read that we can be a good match (Pisces here) but want some opinions in how I should go about this in the beginning stages. He gave me his number and said we should text/call each other before we set up a time to meet for coffee. He just gave it to me tonight and I sent mine to him. Should I wait for him to contact me first? Do they like to be the pursuer or should I text him tomorrow to say hi? I am very interested in getting to know him so I would like input asap....lol. 😉
I know the Taurus women on here have great senses of humor so I'm wondering if the men do as well?

Ok, you both bounced the ball in one anothers court. If you want to contact him first - do it; it's not a game, but I wouldn't over do it. Meaning, if you are seriously interested in meeting this man, then somebody is going to need to step out of their comfort zone (difficult for Taureans, but we WILL do it for the right person - so don't fear 😉 ). Once you've contacted him, then it will be up to him to volley that ball back over to you. It sounds like you two are getting a long well. Just go into this experience with your eyes open and the willingness to just have fun. If something else naturally and organically grows from it - great, if not, at least you can say you had some fun, and from that avatar and your screen name alone, I think you know how to have fun! 🙂

Aaaawww...thank you sooo much! Yep that was me on my b-day this year. Good news about the Taurus, he contacted me by text this morning and we are meeting tonight for coffee! Yay! I will just plan on being myself and see what happens...lol. That's all a person can do, right? 😉

LMAO @ "Ya'll" I could actually hear you say it! And you are welcome, and I hope you have a lovely coffee time together. I think that's a perfect meeting, because if it goes well, it can morph into dinner, but if it doesn't you can scald your throat and tongue choking back a hot coffee in 2 minutes flat and be on your way! LOL, sorry, that was cynical of me...I just meant that coffee doesn't keep you with someone all night when they are annoying and/or boring the hell outta' you!

We must've been typing at the same time...lol. I am meeting the Bull tonight...woohoo! His ranch is truly amazing as he sent me the link to see what he does for a living and his ranch with so many pics of all of his animals! He must have a pretty big heart to take care of and love the animals like the pics indicate. I am very intrigued indeed! He has the very masculine look with a softness to him. He is 43 so I like that he is a little older than me.

Okay ladies (and gents...if there are any reading this as well), he was INTENSE!!! It was really interesting and fun. We walked around the shopping complex and talked first. We got on very well. He has a great accent and is Jewish and French and has lived in Japan, Sydney, Bangkok and some other places and moved here 3 years ago after living in Vegas for two years. He has A LOT of money and does real estate in Tokyo and exports work vehicles over here and sells them.
I was very attracted to him and he was VERY complimentary to me! As we left Starbucks after chatting awhile he grabbed my hand and held it as we walked and then he pulled me in and put his arm around me and he asked where I was parked and that he would give me a ride to my car. When I got in the truck he asked when I was free to see him again and we chatted a bit and he put his hand on my face ang brought me in for a kiss!!!
I was taken aback a bit but I did kiss him back!!! Pure chemistry I must admit! I had to pull back and told him that I don't move that fast and he said, "it's only a kiss and if two people like each other and communicate well then what is wrong with it?" (all in his very sexy accent!)
Now I know what I have read on posts about Taurus men having this masculinity and virilism about them! Wow...it's true! He wants me to come out to his ranch and see the animals but I have a feeling he wants more than to just show me around...lol. He has also invited me to go to Japan with him sometime since he goes every couple of months and told me I should get my passport! Is he like other Taurus men or is it that he lives a charmed life and has grown up differently in that he seemed to move so fast and maybe that is why he already is talking about doing these things and seeing me very soon? Maybe he's just a player at 43— My intuition just tells me that his philosophy really is that you should just go with your feelings and what you want to do and not let society dictate how you act. He said this in so many words but I really felt he was sincere about it and not just lines to get someone in bed. (I don't think he has any problem with this actually) I can see both sides of the coin but I am still not one to move that fast!

The fact that yours is already speaking of taking you places and including you in things shows that he has a real interest in you and making you his. My taurus man and I started out as FWB and one of the things that always caught me by surprise is how he used to mention taking me places and doing things and meeting family members. I wasnt expecting all that but I loved it and I used to analyze everything he said because he didnt know it at the time, but I was already in love with him. I bet you were caught off guard by how he kissed you werent you? LOL...I almost passed out the first time mine kissed me. The correct word is definitely INTENSE. If you think this is something wait and see how you feel once you guys get to the physical stage. The Taurus man definitely knows what he is doing in the bedroom. Good luck and I am definitely interested in hearing your progress...

i'm not sure what to say about the chemistry question but i think if you are feeling one another on an intellectual level, then it makes it easier to justify the chemistry on a physical level.

meaning, if i were to be really compelled to sleep with a guy early on, if we were mutually drawn in that direction, continuing the relationship is easier if we're intellectually compatible as well.

so where i wouldn't say go for it, IF it happens, it's not necessarily a deal breaker.

You don't have to make ANY decisions today/tomorrow/next week, etc. Enjoy just getting to know one another; everything else will fall into place. As VB said, use your female intuition. In respect to the "physical" aspects of it, you can speak with 20 different people, and they will all give you different advice on the physical aspect of a relationship - just be careful and do what YOU want to do at YOUR speed. You don't have to do anything you don't want to; however, you don't need to deprive yourself either, if you "feel" like doing something too 😉.

Bella, the reason we started as FWB is because of me actually. When I met him I was immediately drawn to him emotionally and physically. As a Pisces I am extremely shy so the fact that his approach had me completely at ease is amazing. I found out later he had been watching me for months trying to figure me out and he felt like I was someone he wanted in his life. The reason I suggested FWB to him was because I HAD to have him on every level. It may sound ridiculous but I just felt that strongly about him. I never do FWB either and I was shocked as the words were leaving my mouth! He didnt seem crazy about the idea and he later told me he hated it but he knew one day I would want to be with him. He felt that same intensity. We connect in every way. When we are out in public people notice us. The chemistry between us crackles just that much. 🙂

Im not proud of the FWB thing at the start but it led to the most beautiful relationship Ive ever had in my life.

Let me just add that he is a Taurus with moon sign Cancer and I am Pisces - Cancer moon.

And I am definitely not telling you to rush into anything physical. Prolonging it builds the intensity which is always good. But everyones situation is different. I met mine at a time when I was very bitter and hurting and the last thing I wanted was a relationship. Suggesting FWB was a way of protecting myself in some weird way. Take your time because a Taurus man definitely knows how to take his time.

I will definitely keep ya'll posted. I just hope he doesn't take too long to get back with me...lol. He did take me by surprise with all of his talk about taking me with him and he even said he could help my daughter get to Japan and that he has apartments there due to his dealing in real estate in Tokyo and said she could stay in one of them b/c I had told him Japanese is her minor and Asian Studies her major and he asked if she'd ever been. I told him no b/c we just haven't been able to get her there and that's when he suggested above.

We definitely could talk very easily and seemed to have a mental/intellectual connection as well. The chemistry was a pretty strong pull so I can't say if I went to his ranch that I would be able to be a "good girl"....lol He just had this casual, confident nonchalance that was really intriguing as well. Mmmmm Hmmm

Well TC, I do wish I knew but I don't know his birthday yet. I have news though! He texted me this morning and wanted to see me but to be honest I am having such bad allergies/sore throat, have homework and I had already made plans with the Capricorn for tonight so I told him that I wish I could but that today wouldn't be possible. 😢 I did make sure and tell him that I am really looking forward to when we can arrange it though and that I was happy to wake up to his text. Well, I had sent a message to the sexy Taurus on Saturday and he hadn't responded until today. I received a message that just said, "Will we ever meet again...?" How cute is that?? I emailed him back to ask about Thursday or Friday and he asked about tomorrow but I have work then school afterwards and he said he meant around noon or so. So I sent him one back that said I could if he just meant for lunch. I also sent him the days I work and go to school but that I was off Fridays through Sunday. He never responded back after that even though I know he read the message (it shows if it's read).
I hope it's because he is trying to figure out when we can!!! I do like him! :-)

Well ladies...I actually called him this evening! I don't usually take the initiative like that but I just wanted to figure things out by talking and not messaging/texting back and forth. Plus, I wanted to hear his accent! He seemed very happy to hear from me and started with.."Why hello beautiful." I thought that was a good sign...lol. I actually told him one of the reasons besides figuring out when we could meet was so that I could hear his accent ..he was like, "Oh, I didn't know you liked it." I told him that I did and he said "good". He is having people from Japan until the 25th of April so I said that we would just have to wait until then and I said "Well absence makes the heart grow fonder,right?" in a joking way and he asked me "Can you hold your horses until then?" I thought that was funny and I take it that he meant if I could wait for him and not get with anyone else. (Since he knows I am on the dating site as well.)
He said that if he does get any free time before then that he would call me and see if he could see me. 😄
