My Taurus ex doesn't seem to really want to believe its over.
I, in know way, flirt or lead him on. I even mention my partner casually from time to time.
Is being friends with him still giving him hope?

Why what are you doing to make him believe this? Any hope or game play?

Anyhow you will have to become enemies or just move on and ignore this and find another..

Nope, just being a friend. Even tried to give him advice about how to get girls.
I don't want to be enemies cuz he's cool. I just want him to stop approaching me as
if he has a chance

I dont know what would make anyone act like that. All I need to know is they have moved on. I was talking to a Scorp who moved on but wouldnt admit it. I asked her numerous times to just tell me if she decides to move on but she said nothing. So I said I will just have to go with what I see. When I got confirmation i had to go my separate way because we could have been cool if she was only honest. She wanted to make things way too difficult and play games and I was having none of that...sometimes to protect yourself you have to cut all ties ad move on...or deal with whatever for a prolonged amount of time. I realized this Bull and Scorps are a no go romantically. Im not getting involved in any way like that again made no sense and I tried my best to keep it sensible...there was literally no way. No matter how calm and clear I was...Live and learn.

YESS ++++1 to ALL of this. Calm & clear ISN'T the scorpions way... if you want a good mindf*ck just keep ooon lingering with them. In the past I would play, and when I was really done, I'd stop playing, then turn on them. (Thank youuu Scorpio Moon!!)

Yeah, I agree, I have not met a weak taurus, yeah they give a lot of chances but they always seem in control, the ones I know.

on a slight tangent - do you guys ever give up when you have it in your mind you want something? i have been dealing with my bull for the last week who wants something and will not take no for answer. oh my god! infuriating! the thing is, his incessant and unrelenting pleas have always worn me down in the past. jesus, how do i get him to stop?!?!?!!?

I have. He knows about him. When I told him about my new relationship he said "are you trying to make me jealous?"
I was like…huh…no. i'm keeping you updated cuz ur my friend.
But according to these guys the only way is to sever ties completely. I feel like that speaks more to him not being able to
move on, than me trying to have a friendship.

This has been my experience, also.

I know Taurus men are known for their persistence, but if you sat one down and told him to his face that there is no chance you two would ever work out again, you shouldn't run into this kind of problem. If you are being coy, less than direct, and soft in general, they might mistaken that for uncertainty and actively try to win you over. None of the bulls I know would mope around heart-broken long after a girl leaves them if they were sure it was over.

Is that all queen Elizabeth was born into power she didn't earn it.Taurus men have big hearts that's why we come across as saps or effeminate because we can love like no other don't make assumptions that were weak because you don't know us like you think you do ms busyeyes bashing your own sign wtf is that about.

I'm not angry or bitter towards him, so no reason to amputate. I have one ex who is literally dead to me. I will never answer a text/call from him for the rest of my life, and have no qualms about it. If I ever see him on the street I will completely ignore him and if he approaches me I will tell him to avoid me for the rest of his life. THAT is what a scorpio amputation is. This taurus, never hurt me and is a nice person, so no sense in freezing out a good person.

Yup, same experience as me. I think if you do act coy and less direct they will pursue, but usually if you say "no" they will respect that. You may change your mind later and be like "when I said no, I still thought you would pursue me!" To which Taurus (who loves directness) will say "uhhh no, I go by what you said." That's what happened with all my Taurus cousins/friends with their GFs.

Haha, I am surrounded by Taurus men. My longest relationship (3 and a bit years) was with a Taurus man. Such resilient and strong men.

My ex was a Taurus mercury.
Took him forever to get over me. He was so PERSISTENT!! no matter what I did, no matter how manipulative or evil I was to him to try to get him over me, he just did NOT want to give up!
