Hey, recently went on a date with a Taurus woman and had an amazing time, nice restaurant followed by fancy cocktail bar. We arranged to see each other again this Wednesday but she cancelled last night, don’t think it’s me as she originally said on Saturday she had to work every day this week to pay a tax bill, and she works nights, so I was surprised when she took Wednesday off in the first place, and I think now she probably has to work. She wanted to rearrange for Sunday but I’m out of town this weekend so I can’t make it. So we arranged to meet next Wednesday which co-incidentally is valentine’s day.

I’m just a bit of an impatient Aries, I like her so I want to see her soon. For a Taurus, is 1.5 weeks between first and second date too long? And should I try to meet with her on Friday before she has work? I’m thinking I have the next date so stick with that? Difficult to know what to do, my Aries instincts vs the fact I know Taurus have more patience and like space to think? 1.5 weeks just seems like forever!

Also seeing how it is valentine’s day, I was going to get her a little gift, but don’t want to go over the top and scare her away, so I was thinking maybe a single red rose? Or if that is too much then maybe a sensual candle of some sort? Or if you think a gift is too much too soon then let me know?

1.5 weeks isn't long whatsoever. If she's a good one, patience can be a virtue for us but don't keep us waiting forever.

Even though us Taurus women do love luxurious things, etc. However, we also adore simple, genuine gifts from the heart. It's the thought that counts. Therefore, keep it simple. A rose, with a funny card would be cute. And if you really want to get a gift then a candle from bath & body works will do. Keep that "sensuality" stuff to yourself until things get real with her and you both trust each other enough. A "stress" relieving candle would be grand. They sell those there.
