I have no real reason for hitting him or his friend. I was very drunk and I'm going through a lot, being homeless, unemployed, stuff like that, and it got the best of me. I'm not making an excuse for my actions though. I take full responsibility. I didn't mean to hit anyone :/

i've apologized a lot. before he ended with the "i dont have feelings for you anymore" he just told me to take it as a learning experience. he said if you know you get a certain way when you drink then dont drink too much, and he said to be proactive. i never replied because i didnt know what else to say.
I think he is just embarrassed about what happened. he's even said, "if i take you back, what will that say about me? i can't". but you're right. i just didn't want to move from this, but i'm too scared to make contact cuz i dont want to annoy him either. 😢

I guess you should back off and try keep calm if you have already apologised more than once. Its still fresh. Dont remind him of what happened over and over again.

Unfortunately, there is nothing more to say. I would just move on. Nothing tragic happened. If he really cares about you, he will come back. But I would just back off completely.

@Pandora101 yes i apologized to his friend and his friend has forgiven me. I'm not jumping to talk to her because i want to give him space with everything thats happened.
If he's going to act that way and end things over something trivial then I'd question his interest and loyalty. If your relationship can't stand and hold firm through the basics then it's not a steady enough foundation to continue building on, it fell down at the first hurdle. So you got drunk and made a twat out of yourself. I've seen worse! Life can be a struggle and as you say you have some pressure there but instead of stepping up to support you he's backed away and favours what 'other' people might think of 'him' if you were to remain together. Sounds selfish to me.

I still think that if the friend was a girl, you got somehow jealous and thats why you hit them? it is easy to get this impression when one is drunk.....

I AM NOT JEALOUS OF HIS FRIEND at all. His Best Friend is a girl and when they first met they talked for a bit a long time ago when he was going through shitty stuff. And now she's with another mutual friend of theirs. BUT That's another story. lol. The girl I hit is another friend of ours and I did not hit her intentionally. I was swinging my arms around like a big baby saying get away from me, slapping my hands down, hitting him in the face, and she happened to be there so i found out i hit her in the arm. ughhhh. truly sucks. i am giving myself maybe 2 weeks to grieve, cry, and all that depressing stuff. Then hopefully i will feel better about it.
