I might have reached a breakthrough
Finally, I admitted to him one last conversation I had with my mother. I said that my mother asked whether I liked him, and I told her that he made me happy. A moment later my taurus responded with a little smiley face and said that I made him happy as well. I admit, I teared up a little when he told me that. Neither of us our that demonstrative with our feelings about each other, albeit physically. He's never really mentioned how he's felt about me so blatantly, so that alone made me estatic. He said that he would be back on Thursday and he wanted to see me (although, he was more bossy about it, like "I'm coming back Thursday. We're hanging out.")
So, I do think I've reached a breakthrough with him, finally. And it feels great. 🙂

Oh, there was also one thing we talked about that led up to this:
My taurus, who is often jokingly admitting to his bullish ways (like you know, disappearing, stubborness, ect), really admitted to it last night.
When I jokingly told him that sometimes he can be a jackass, he said to me "I openly admit to being a jackass and sucking sometime... but I don't meant to do it normally. It's unintentional."
That was important for me to hear, because even though he can frustrating, it's just nice to know he's not intentionally dicking me around lol. I mean, I knew that deep down (which I told him I wouldn't stick around if I didn't know that), but it was reassuring to hear it from the source.

Anyway, I think I've finally reached a breakthrough with my taurus boy, and I have to say it has me giddy enough to roll around in a field of grass.
He (who is currently in Maine with some family) texted me late last night, and by late, I mean like 1:30 in the morning. I wasn't asleep anyway, but I found it funny that I had been thinking of him right before he texted me because we haven't spoken in the last five days. Anyway, we just texted each other back and forth, with me asking about his stay in Maine and him asking how my trip back home was. I admitted to him that I told my aqua mother about him, which is a feat on its own because I'm very private and rarely tell my mother about my significant others. I told him all about our conversation we had about him, which was really funny because my mother asked questions that ranged from what type of shoes he wore to whether he was a tea party activist lol. I was a little nervous to tell him that I told my mother about him because I worried that it could scare him off. But, he responded positively and just joked with me, asking me what other questions my mother asked and saying he was happy that she approved. We went back to joking with each other, but I couldn't help but notice the way we spoke to each other, my taurus was speaking as if we truly were together.
I told him once that as long as he wasn't on the streets or emotionally crippling, he would impress my mother. He made a comment asking what kind of people I dated before him, but I just said that I was being dramatic. He said that he was just curious because he hated most of his exes. He also said to me that I never told him about my exes. I can tell you right now this conversation already seemed rather intimate and close; he had never even mentioned his exes or his feelings about him, nor had he probed so much about me as well. Anyway, the conversation went on as I vaugely told him about my past relationships and I admitted that I didn't want to tell him because I didn't want to get into a heavy conversation about my exes and how I disliked a few of them. He told me he would find that conversation interesting.
