Taurus and moving on from your significant other

As a Taurus (with strong Taurus influence in my chart) , I have always found it hard to move on from break ups and failed romances. It never fails to get to me, who else feels this way— It is a curse in itself!

Oh I will hold on, you have to pry the relationship out of my cold dead hands, until one day I'm just done. It's like magic, just wish it would happen sooner.

Unfortunately being a venus in taurus makes it that much harder!!!

Sag Venus that conjuncts Pluto can feel the same too. You're not alone.

Edit: All Earth and Water signs can forgive, but not forget. They hold onto relationships for dear life until the point where they realize that its not practical, in which they will move on.

I'm a Cap as well so.

oh man my venus in caner ex was a trip, both me and him hung on to our relationship for deal life! even though we both knew in the end it wasnt going to work out (our future plans were different) and it only hurt us more in the end.

I have VIT, also conjunction to the Sun. So actions and if not actions then why should I change that person. Either you know what monogamous relationship are or don't. I like to have a person who has similar interests of taking friendships towards relationships serious. I won't say anything though. I usually announce I like you and take it from there.

It still gets to me too and I'm older than you but it gets to me less because now when it's over I focus on all their negative qualities and it really helps me to move on which I know I'll have to do eventually.

My Venus is in Taurus too .. I mentally hold on to people .. Physically I'm out the door .. I can break up with someone in a heartbeat but it takes a min for me stop thinking about that person .... My pride won't allow them to fuck me over again!

True that.

We don't move on to the next person after going through whatever we go through with that one person..after all we do feel the burn and sadness of hoping it was the one so we can stop seeking. It takes a VIT and mars to ponder about could of been but also is it the right person afterall.

I think attachment like this makes for quality people. It shows you bond deeply and can't simply move on to the next so easily.
