Taurus myths/non-myths

So, a few Taurus things I'm wondering about: is it true that Taurus seeks comfort and ultimately tries to make someone comfortable if that person happens to be talking to them? I suppose this would involve any social interaction including sex! Ha, but really, if that's true, I can totally get why Taurus' do the things they do. But why?

Can't really think of any other myths/perceptions. Feel free to add your own.

1. A myth about Taurus- We're not the jealous type unless you provoke it. For example- rovering eye, and that's a big maybe. I'm not jealous or insecure. If my POI is interested in eye other woman.. I may not engage no longer..

2. A non myth-Being possessive is a materialistic thing sometimes....I like pretty objects and people but only if there's any significant value..

3. A non myth- We're picky and I hold you accountable for your actions..We're all about action.. well my Mars in Taurus does..Can we accept some bullshit, we're suppose too compromise and communicate. SO yeah for a short attention span of time.

4. A non myth- We're faithful and loyal...When you are the one..

5. A myth- We're not sexual enough, bull shit. We are and only ones that are worth seeing that side...Oh yeah we're sensual and can mix the two easily...

6. A non myth- We choose our friends wisely. And Keep enemies far the fuck away.. And can spotlight them.

7. A myth- We are not that stubborn...

8 A non myth- We're affectionate and passionate...not so cold..

9. A non myth- We're lovers not fighters...and romantic at heart..well my VIT is.

I do try to make the other person feel more at ease around me if I see that they are dense, shy or uncomfortable. I think I tend to ask questions first and joke around a bit, loosen up the atmosphere. Why do I do it? I guess no one likes awkward silence. 😛

@ Busy- I get hella nervous, at loud parties, or clubs..So that's a good quality that I like to be able to do. I actually do it when I am comfortable, you know the laughing and sarcastic sense of humor I got sometimes.. hm it's hard for me to initiate conversations right away..

A non myth about Taurus.. We are warm, caring, reliable, AND dependable people..We are sometimes the designated drivers at parties..lol

The biggest Taurus myth:
Bullettes are gold-diggers. The way to her heart is through your pockets.

If I read one more pseudo-description about the female Bulls in regards to men with money...I will scream!

Fact: We detest pretentious individuals. Gold-digging involves a great deal of acting. We're not pretenders. Nor do we care for arrogant men who flaunt it.
Most Taurus women graviate towards men who possess a sense of humility, someone who makes us feel safe. A man who isn't going to rip our hearts out and eat it for breakfast. No wandering eye. No playboys please....and no, your Range Rovers will not impress us either.

Fact: There is nothing 'damsel in distress' about a Bull. Don't get it twisted. Show me a panic room of five individuals, and one calm individual who has everything under control, delegating, finding solutions...and I guarantee you she will be a Taurus. Yes, the only one in the room who will not throw herself on the ground, complaining. She will scream: EVERYONE, GET IT TOGETHER!

Fact: Taurus is a hard working & a money-oriented sign. If we're not working 2 jobs, we have a full time career and a side hustle. But trust me "Broke' will not be our middle name.

If we're in the peripheral vision of rich men, they're more intrigued with us, it's not the other way around. We couldn't care less.

Another big Taurus myth...
"We're slow because we're confused and indecisive."

We're slow because we prefer a conventional courtship without the mask you're putting on.

There is nothing indecisive about a Bull, we're 'fixed' signs. We know who we are and we know what we want. Once we decide you're the one, we will fight to see it through.

This is a non-myth. Very accurate and well stated!

We are as cool as the other side of the pillow when we are faced with difficult circumstances. Out of all the zodiac signs, taurus people can handle the most without blinking an eye. The problem is that when we blow up.......well is not a sight to see.

Atom bomb_—. I guess we can be at times.

Another myth is that people think Tauruses are slow in( thinking and in doing). What they don't understand is that while everyone is playing checkers we're playing chest. I should know......Taurus with Scorpio rising.!!!

I was really waiting for Busy and TB to add anything about myths and non myth. Lol I argee with TB. I am definitely not a gold digger. Can get my own material possessions myself.

Hence the number 2 topic I can be fixed on possessions, beautiful, sexy, and genuine people and things or objects...I do have Venus in Taurus.. I can get possessive of a lover naturally...It just means I don't like sharing with others.. and that might even be about FOOD and not a guy. Lol haha

Oh btw. On TB facts.. I have two jobs, my own place, my own possessions, two cats, my own car. And I can cook, clean, and fix my own flat tire.

So that damsel in distress thing. Who started that...I am not sure. But I can mow the lawn, build my own garden, make homemade recipes, and paint and can fix a broken pipe. I just need a companion for pleasurable memories long term without the lying and cheating BS.. that's all a Taurus needs is a strong, lovable teddy bear..

Prime example of a a volcanic blowout was AB and that date he went on...

Lol fact don't underestimate a Taurus..

Fact don't take a Taureans kindness for weakness...

If you make a Taurus indecisive something is wrong and it's up to me to wonder wtf is happening..lol..

I have this eye thing when I start to lose it, where my right eye shakes.

There's only been a few times when I have really lost it and one of them was by far the worst...

Back when I was a youth in school I put a kid into the hospital. He had been fucking with me for over three months straight and I would ignore him and leave the situation so he'd call me a "Pussy" for not fighting him or reacting to the stupid shit he was doing to get my attention. I didn't want to fight him not because I was afraid but because I knew if I did I'd probably kill him. But one morning just before 3rd period he started in on me again and this time was threatening to "destroy me". I warned him not to put his hands on me or he would regret it and the idiot fucking laughed and then pushed my chest with his left hand and told me to bring it.

After employing a few specific taekwondo techniques which ultimately brought him to the ground, I straddled him and proceeded to beat the fuck out of him using a variety of offensive hand strikes such as Hammerfist and Palm strikes to his face for over three minutes. At one point I grabbed a chunk of his hair and slammed his head into the pavement repeatedly while screaming "WHEN DOES IT FUCKING END?". The other kids tried to get me to stop but they couldn't there was a lot of shouting and girls were screaming in horror that I was killing him.

Eventually several male teachers pulled me off him and subdued me while two female teachers gave him medical attention. I couldn't control myself, I was in a state of pure rage. afterward was one of the few times I actually cried, I didn't want to hurt him I just wanted to be left alone. I remember my father patting me on my back and telling me "atta boy" then taking me to pizza and celebrating how I had become a man and put some kid in the hospital. My father was a particularly brutal, Scorpio with a black heart and thrived on violence.

I got expelled (again) and was in all sorts of trouble, but honestly didn't give two shits about any of my consequences, except one. One of my classmates also happened to be in my taekwondo class and narked on me to our instructor. I was given a very long, very loud lecture about using techniques I wasn't qualified to use, and how I could have killed that kid. They also banned me from participating in taekwondo competitions and demoted me all the way back down to beginner AND banned me from everything except PT for a year. The dishonor and shame I brought my instructor was heavy and probably the only thing which affected me.

Fact a Taurus can collect things like souvenirs....I have a collection of all my birth year coins...I have key chains, and shot glasses for all the places I have been to.. they are mine, I earned it, I want it and will have it..

@Aries what is your outlook on number 2?

Fact Arians are more possessive than Taurus or about the same..

Fact Aries are more jealous than Taurus..

Fact Aries and Taurus combine toxic..

Number 2 is correct......I love beautiful things. In fact I'm a collector when it come to things that catch my eye. All taureans I believe have this gift which can be a curse at the same time.

@AB.I have found the male version of myself lol lol I used to get into lots of fights in primary school and secondary school especially with the boys who saw me as the 'quiet kid in the corner '... Boy were the wrong. I beat up a male school bully and given a few black eyes in my time and punched a neighbour just a couple of years ago!! I've got a really good right hook but to look at me I look typically elegant and glamorous bullette (leo rising and leo moon!!)!! Lol lol

With my temper if I were a male bull I would be in prison now doing time for murder blaming the 'red mist'!!!

I got into a lot of fights, but that one was one of the few times I lost control, in the other fights I was mostly defending and not really trying to kill other people. lol. One of the things I hated about junior high and high school was that a lot of the bullies wouldn't fight one on one and instead I'd have three or more cowards attacking me at the same time. I admit, I didn't always win especially when the numbers were five or more but I gave it my all and fucked up two or three of em on the way down. Never gave up, even if the odds were against me I always go all in!

I got expelled a lot. LOL.

My favorite school was the one that all the juvie kids went to. I was surrounded by teenaged criminals and rapists. Those fights were always the best because you never felt bad afterward as you were dealing with pieces of shit. lmao.

You know I never fought ever I kept to myself.. yeah I've been bullied.. .. So I am not sure how explosive I can get..Until my ex bff brought a whole new side out.. There was a handful yelling and illness on my part... didn't phase him I was hurt..

.I slapped my ex bff for a very good reason... We ended up fighting alittle bit in the bathroom..no blood though. When this incident happened I bucked up in my mind and thought if this happens again. I'm not backing down and will protect myself since I know we can get down...

Another incident again I am accusing him of cheating .. WE snapped he pushed me almost out the window.. I pushed him back and he tripped over my radio and cut his foot...but I really was happy I got some kind of strength or courage to push him back.. So I'm a lover not a fighter literally..

All I got was illnesses unexpectedly that a young age person should not be dealing with..But nothing major like AB..But don't provoke the bull because we can snap at any time..

@ Busy- That's weird because I don't feel like a Taurus. I feel airy or fiery. And I'm a rooster born in 1981..So you're a little older.. So with age comes knowledge, strength, courage, and less stuck in the rut. Lol I'm just at a stable pace right now and it's not moving too fast.. It's really slow moe....lol I hope when I get to 40 in about 6 years. I have everything I need..

Every school I went to I never met a fellow Bull, I was always the only Bull in every class and usually surrounded by Aqua's, Gems, Leos, and Scorpios. lol The ones that bullied me were Scorps the most, but there were a few cancers and one sag. The cancers weren't really physically aggressive but more verbally assaulting always talking shit. Virgos never interacted with me and gave me a wide berth. Although I did have a Pisces bully once.

Yeah well you got some fire in you.. I got some come give me a hug and make up in me. Haha opposite attracts.

A non myth or myth- Affection and passion are the same thing to a Taurus..


Fact- Loyalty and faithfulness mean the same thing to a Taurus..

As for asking everyones birthday as soon as I see them. Never takes me awhile to be so open... I never looked into astrology untill recently probably 4 years now and it was for myself..

Then I would compare certain signs to my sign or people in the last 5 years so snooping really.. and a better understanding of their capabilities and traits I wasn't familiar with...

So after my break up. I decided to go online and see what was out there. Ones that I actually met in person.. Aquarius, Sagittarius, Gemini, Pisces, Virgo, Capricorn and Aries males.

I have always favored knowledge, also used to do the penpal thing years ago. Not really a traveler type, also don't care about money too much. although I do know how to get money relatively fast if needed. I have a anti authority schtick about me and can generally be found doing things which I shouldn't be or pushing the envelope. It's weird, I don't care too much about having a lot of money, but I have to shop name brand, NEVER accept anything less. people usually call me a snob. lol.

Ever since I was a child, I've only liked certain types of clothing, it has to feel right in order for me to wear it and I absolutely don't do tank tops. Due to my height, all my clothes are custom fitted, my slacks are $ 55 - $ 90 each, my dress shirts are usually $ 45 - $ 95 each. I always present myself a certain way physically when going outside and that's probably due to my Leo rising.

My nursing scrubs are 50 a set, my makeup is unique..

I always get complimentary comments on that alone..
.My hair is done according to my mood and how much time I have to get ready for work.. Oh and my body sprays are for work and my perfumes are for going out.

When I go out I don't get the latest fashion style. I do my own style but I match to the tee. My VIT is fully active when it's time to rock n roll either for work, or going out or for bed...

Look in a Taurus closet they probably have more clothes than you..and shoes..

Currently I'm sporting a "Canadian Native" look and getting in touch with my Canadian roots with a bushy and wild beard and my hair is longer than usual. I don't like the clean cut look, although sometimes shave it all off for a new beginning. So it's rare to find me looking all prim and proper. I dress casually, usually khaki slacks (Trousers for you UK peeps), Khaki or patterned long sleeve button down shirts, and a pair of bright white sneakers with bright blue accents. When I dress up for special occasions it's typically a flashy affair and I'll wear a suit and tie with dress shoes. And for those really special moments I bust out my Tails and tophat. I usually get shit for that look but in my opinion you can't have tails without a tophat. Now busting out the cane, that would be too much. LOL.

Which is why I was surprised when that cap / scorp chick wanted to go out with me. Not too many women like us facial hair guys.

I wore makeup once. Evil Aqua siblings thought it would be hilarious to dress me up as a girl for Halloween one year. It was really fucked cause I had no say in the matter I was really little maybe four or five and they paraded me around town in a pink tutu with nylons and a wig. My sister did my makeup and put lipstick on me. it was so humiliating and all their friends just had a good ol time laughing at me.

That's bold but cool..

The last time I dressed up for Halloween was when I was 25 years old...I was pilot.

@Aries- Yeah my ex bff was an Aries and my co worker is an Aries... So I can see where you're coming from........

I possess one person, however not entirely because of my moon and rising and if I am really interested in you..... Actually I'll give you space just as I like it myself, and if we end up having sex. I can become more open and expressive or I can detach emotionally just like an Aries can...

..... But I collect many material objects if that makes sense. Like I said I don't like sharing my man with anyone else and if Aries are just as possessive and jealous as I that's a mutual understanding right off the bat and I could possibly give Aries a chance..
