So i like to think that with a good woman a man can go far, a lot farther than a guy would imagine. So to point out taurus women are one of the worse supporting women around, out of all the president's wives there has only been one taurus woman(not counting remarries), the same for the wives of the canadian prime minister. No taurus wives for the chancellors of the modern day germany. im sure there is a lot more evidence out there, not counting hollywood marriages.

—taurus women are one of the worse supporting women around??

That's a pretty strong statement to make, especially when you are only considering one area of success. I suggest you continue your research and broaden idea about what qualifies as success.

This statement is biased, unfounded, and just plain retarded. I hope that I've provided you with enough support and encouragement to try better next time.

And this statement: "Have you considered that Taurus women typically care less about power and more about money?" is about as "retarded" as the OP's comments. I suggest you take your own advice: "continue your research and broaden idea about what qualifies as success.", and try harder next time.

It seems that you see "going far" as some sort of political or powerful position.
Not everyone has the same definition as you.
Maybe its because most Taureans are too busy getting their own instead of trailing behind some man.

Youre lacking evidence and fail to back up your argument.
Weak Post
Better luck next time,kiddo.

This! I require my own independence before I can even consider giving my complete loyalty and devotion to a man, and that man has to be equally independent. Independent (and everything that trait encompasses...), to me = a well established identity (one that is not tied up in superficial matters, such as; money/status/material possessions), is in touch with his true self (spirit/soul); knows self (including wants, needs, goals/mission/ambition, and can care for/handle himself, etc.), self driven, is secure in and loves self. One who is not entirely dependent on others for his true happiness, nor does he allow others (or money/materials/possessions) to define him. You know, that whole thing where two whole individuals come together as equals and operate in a synergistic fashion...

Setting aside the potential troll who began the thread. I've been lurking for months and decided to register in order to defend you folks. Yes, Pisces.

Reading threads on this board, and the nature of Taurus in general, you bulls and bullettes are extremely supportive and helpful. Shout out to venusianbull who always seems to show up with a kind and poetic word.

If you do insert Hollywood and Hollywood politics into the mix, I'd look at Cate Blanchett as a supportive Taurus woman. Doubtful her husband would have gotten as far as he has on his own, and they mostly work in separate areas of the arts (films vs. theatre).

Looking at politics, what about Princess of Orange (soon-to-be Queen of the Netherlands) Maxima Zorreguieta Cerruti? Intelligent, well-educated, successful business woman in her own right. Spoke 5 languages by age 30 and learned Dutch in 2 years. Dutch for goodness sake!

Most reports agree that she has done wonders, both for her widowed mother-in-law and for her husband, fellow Taurus Crown Prince Willem-Alexander. His Taurean temper has all but disappeared, he is more respected in their country, and she has helped him gain both gravitas and glamour. So I'd put Maxima forward as a supportive Taurus woman in the political realm.

In gratitude for the song recommendation, I'll send along to TaureanVirgo:

Jean Mouton - Nesciens mater
The Monteverdi Choir directed by Gardiner

I don't think you need to be religious, or even spiritual, to appreciate the beauty and complexity of this work. Only instruments involved are the human voice.

Wow...Yes, this truly is beautiful! Thank you for sharing!

I know! I was praising the Taurus lady and Scorpio lady strength. VB is right that men should polly want them but you know how males are ................ego and all.heh

The same guys that inwardly vomit onto their socks because they have a woman that sobs her
way through problems instead of taking the tiger by the tail?
Drama, not solutions.
Eventually leaving behind a widow who cannot even manage to select underpants without direction.
Sounds a bit twisted to me. Overlord to servant. Hey. Pick your poison. Just remember to drink deeply.
Ahh, how refreshing.
