Why do they say?

That women never fart? They do, I've heard it and been around it and had to clear house with my friends. My idiot friend insist that women don't ever fart, yeah that's what she thinks. They may not do when people are around but they still do it. They just have better ways of hiding it. Weird smell in the room, guy in the corner gets blamed for it while the girl in the other corner is looking at a magazine and smiling (nobody suspects her). Carlos gets blamed for it and earns a nothing more than be-ration. Damn! Why the hell besides having some decency do women not fart and nobody points fingers at them?

Sadly we do fart.....but we try not to do it in front of everyone if we can help it. We may or may not fart on you while we're sleeping.

The saying and mindset comes from idolizing women.

This too. Women are much less likely to take pride in or brag about bodily functions like guys do. While they exist, female burp-offs are kinda rare.

I went out on a first date, with an Australian, once. I wasn't too enthusiastic about it, as Australians are one of the few nationalities that leave me cold. But decided to give here a chance.

Big mistake!

Within the first 30 minutes, she released a silent bomb. God, it reeked! As a result, I tried to make the date end as soon as possible, while trying to dampen her enthusiasm (luckily, I had some friends having a few pints a couple of blocks away). I never saw her again, thank God.

It's simply social conditioning not to expect women to fart. However, hearing it is one thing, smelling it is another thing entirely. And I'm sure most women would agree on that regarding men.

Of course women fart. Girls are taught that it's unladylike. As if an angel flutters down with a golden cork to herald the arrival of a girl child.

I like Aussie accents. 😄

Aussie accents are okay. Just don't get cockney with it. At that point I'd be a bit annoyed.
