How long did you stay on your first visit?

How much did you spend?

Never been. I don't go through beauty supplies fast and I'm not that interested. Until lipstick makes my boobs bigger, beauty supplies aren't going to do much for me.

Did you just recently go Montgomery- What did you get?

I mostly order online from them as alot of their promotions only affect online sales- like black Friday.

But typically when i do actually go- i stay a long time, and spend to much :p

lol, there's one right by my house. I went in for a particular nail repair product....in and out in 15 minutes.

Cuz that's how I roll.

Yeah, I did-- I've been once before, but not to this one... and it's been years.

I've been making a concerted effort to stay the hell away.

But it was even better than I had imagined.

I think I made what I'll call My Yearly Purchase.

I just smh *facepalm*

i go to get perfumes but that is about it. they still don't carry the two i use mostly So i go to Sephora for that.

this is libra shopping

spend a half hour in the store looking at all the products, thinking about it, and then deciding not to buy anything 9 times out of 10 because none really realllly appeal to me lol

whenever I do buy a beauty product tho, it becomes a staple

I love when they have the expensive shampoos on sale.

So do I ... my mom always grabs some for me, and I just reimburse her.

But I didn't even wander into the shampoo section... *overwhelmed*

Omg... it just occurred to me that this really was the first time I've been.

That was Sephora, where I went before.

I usually spend anywhere between 20-30 minutes browsing and an additional 15 minutes waiting in line. I generally spend about $ 70- $ 100 every trip, but that's because I wait until they send me the 20% off coupon (once every 2-3 months?), and restock/purchase everything all at once.

This is why I try not to make fragrance purchases at Sephora (which eventually makes its way to Target counters). Way too mainstream/accessible.

If you can find it at Ulta, it's probably more beneficial to get it from them, as you can earn cash points that will go towards your future purchases. They also frequently have discount coupons & promotions. With Sephora, you also accumulate points with purchases, but you only have the option of trading them in for sample products.

a month ago. 'Oh I need to pick up a new pencil sharpener' you know, a two minute trip, three dollars tops.

'Oh let me check and see if they have my powder shade in. They were out last month'

'Ohhhh. I've been meaning to add a new eyeliner color'

'You know I don't have a really good red lipstick either'

'Let me check and see if they have that new sea salt spray I got in my birchbox that worked great on my hair'

'Oh they don't. Hey I didn't know that brand made a dry shampoo. I love their texture spray I should try it out.'

'Oh I need to checkout the lip balms'

'Oh hey the lip stain is right next to them, convenient!'

'Might as well get a red gloss to layer on my red lipstick. That'll be a nice touch and match my outfit for Friday night.'

*goes to front of store*

'Wow! Look at all these lipstick box sets! I can try the colors out without committing to a high dollar purchase! Omg this copper palette looks perfect for my eye color! Tarte blush on markdown! Oh cool a 6 dollar sea salt spray! Worth a shot'

*finally gets to checkout*

"Can I help you find anything today?"

'No. Oh! Yes actually. Where are your pencil sharpeners?'

$ 147 dollars over intended budget later...

I realized I would not be buying those two pairs of bots I eyed earlier that week lol.
