Has anyone been to Alaska? How do you get really cheap flight tickets?

Pretty disappointed there's no penguins in Alaska. And they have really ugly reindeer. Any tips on how you get the cheapest flight tickets? I just need to fly to Seattle cause it's going to be the cruise port... aint nobody wanna visit that city otherwise. I wish there was human smugglers with secret advanced technology that just teleport you to cities for half the cost.

I lived there for a few years. Anchorage and Valdez aren't that bad but the colder it gets the cheaper the flights.

I live in Seattle, and we get swamped with tourists, so who's this "nobody" of which you speak? Living here can be a real pain, but it's a great vacation destination.
