Me & A Big, Huge Thingy

Hey, I've never traveled on a Greyhound bus alone before :-/

I will be switching buses three times before I get to my distination and it makes me just alittle uneasy.

Are there any travel tips that I should be aware while traveling on a bus verse a plane or a train.

Any advice would be much appreciated 🙂

ummm...I've never ridden on a big thingy. I hear there are usually a lot of stops.

Yes, that's what I will do 🙂 *However, the rest rooms are ususally nasty so I don't want to drink too much water. Also, I'm taking three things with me:

1)My Duffel bag
2)My carry on bag
3)My Travel purse

Should I put my purse inside my travel bag or should I keep it around my neck ?

I don't have an IPod ... I'm not up-to-date with technology. 😢

Bus/train is better than Plane for some things,not having to go through all that check in nonsense for one....

Well, I'm nervous about the luggage situation .... how do I keep someone from randomly stealing it before I get off the bus :o!!! Oh dear

Bring a nose plug, a LOT of breath mints to openly share, and some headphones for the guy snoring behind you.

Good Idea then somebody who has not bathed in a couple months and has bad breath can come and set with you they will try to put there hands on you the hand with a little dried blood on it and some food bits left over from a week ago. OH sounds like fun.

Nope, I won't be flying for a long time ... it's too expensive, can't afford. Plus, riding a Greyhound bus will keep you grounded ... hahaha, that's for sure 😛

I did have to deal with a few crazy people and I forgot to bring my CD player LOL!!! However, my best time was with a family I sat with -- they were really cool, ESPECIALLY THE GRANDMA! She made sure that I was left behind 🙂 Her grandbaby was cute too!
