Any suggestions on good places to travel throughout the world? I was thinking about traveling some places within the next year but I wondered if anyone had some experiences. I don't travel much I've only been outside of the U.S. once. I think I just need to get out of Oklahoma for a change. *sigh*

If you are american go to England. If you have a cridet card travel mostly on it if you can. the exchange rate is what it is with out the cost of changing money. All you need is a pass port and put the us dollars in your pocket once you get to heathrow or gatwick you can chang money any where. Buy a brit rail pass here in the states travil by train. you can any where in the country. If you want special cheap trips go to the UK on the net and book some coach trips. Have a good time.

Thanks Jake - I look forward to reading your info. My dad and his wife are planning to buy a house there. If they let me borrow it you can come over and play 😉

I thought that was key west? I am tring to get intouch with Ron who has a home there but no call back he lives in New York and there in winter will have to resort to pen and ink I guess. He bought the place in the 70's and he told me then it cost him 250 a month to live there 6 months out of the year. I am sure its up quite a bit from back then.

May I suggest you'd go to south of Spain. We hardly had any rain this winter! That's bad for the farmers but nice for travellers! At least, if you like sunshine. Although it's like the stockmarket: development in history doesn't guarantee the future. In any case, be sure we have beautiful cities and countryside.
