I don't have much advice on food....just try everything at least once even if you aren't sure what it is 😛 Most menus are in French....I found an occasional one in English.

No free refills on coffee in the cafes (lol).....if you are a coffee drinker, that can get rather expensive.

If you want just regular old US coffee.....ask for "Coffee with Waters"....it's like an Americano.

I'm dying to try the food there.
I know a little french but not enough but I have loads of materials to learn more on the language.
I took French at school and was considering getting a private tutor to teach me the rest of what I need to know about the language and the culture. .
The Eiffel Towel must be beautiful to see Omg... I can't wait.

I'm not a coffee drinker but I know alot of the drinks but anything I'm trying has to French else what's the point of flying over there.

Just keep me posted on all your memories of being over there.
I am delighted with all your posts since Paris or anything French for that matter is an obsession of mine.

I must have live there in a past life cause I can't seem to understand this obsession.
It's like something is pulling me to go over there.

How long are you staying there? You're just going by yourself or with a group of friends?

If going with a group of friends, rent a flat.

Ok I have way too much to say here, I'll bookmark this topic and get to it in the weekend. I have lots to say lol. You're not leaving til Saturday, right?

4-7 days all by my lonesome in the summer or Fall?
Is Fall a good season to go there?

Post whatever you want I would be overjoyed to see all those things.

Fall is great. Spring is problematic because a lot of museums are closed.

Ok so you're not leaving yet lol. Cool, I have time to post a lot of shit.

Don't forget to watch the Moulin Rouge show. If you intend to watch it book it in advance as they tend to get overbooked. They have two shows in a day.

Tell me more young lady!

Lol. First show is at 9pm and second one is at 11pm. You have an option for booking dinner also but dinner is served at 7pm. I don't know how this dinner option works since I didn't go for it. I went for the 11pm show since I was staying very close by and it was just walking distance for me.

Make sure you reach 30mins before the show and dress code should be smart attire. Check out below link for reservations:

I liked visiting Sacre Coeur Basilica also. There was this soccer ball man outside the Basilica showcasing amazing performance. He climbs the lamp post balancing the soccer ball on his one leg. Try going over there too if you have the time.

Another place of interest would be Napoleon's Tuileries Garden. I went in early November and it was snowing by then. I think it would be a good time to enjoy the place now.

I spent a semester in paris.

Parsons school of paris 🙂

It was really nice!!!!
I loved my instructors.
At the time I made a lot of Parisian friends.
They just really liked me more so than people in my own country.
I saw a lot of the sites the first week.

I sort of had a parisian fling and I got to see the city through a French perspective..
A lot of drugs tho 😛

Over all I was pretty with school work, expectations were high. I would live there for sure.
It's a very work hard and play hard environment. VERY FUN but one it's expensive sooo you either need to be rich or work your ass off.
That's the same with NY.

Yea girl, NY ain't cheap!
And its definitely a work hard, play hard environment.
I have not had not one day off this week..but considering I like money I don't mind working hard for it.

Hi!I would really like to share my experience in Paris!

I'm from New York and a couple of months ago I was in Paris for the first time.
For me the biggest problem in Paris - a subway and dirt in the city.

The problem with the dirt in the city - mostly it's fault tourists!
Therefore kindly requested to all tourists: do not litter the city. And Paris will not be dirty.

Next...subway
In Paris subway there are too little escalators. It complicates lives of passengers with luggage. Therefore I chose a way to get around the city by taxi (I used the services of a Kiwi taxi http://kiwitaxi.com/France/De+Gaulle+Airport</a> ).

In general, I liked Paris. I recommend to all my friends to come to Paris.

Paris in the summer is pretty stinky i'll admit. As beautiful as it is, the subways and metros, are filled with men who show off their armpits and smell as if there isn't any deodorants in the house.

Next time, bring some deodorants or sprays and spray them in the metro when you smell a bunch of men with armless t shirts. They could be citizens or tourists, don't matter. But geeeez. PHEW.

talk about Pe -pe Le PEW!!
