so last night, at dinner, discussing alcohol and Scandinavian countries.

I was told that alot of people in Denmark, and Sweden, specificially have breakfast with a shot glass of aquavit. That is alcohol. Kind of like a shot of vodka. lol

i'm like, um, the children don't drink that do they? (was concerned) O___O

no. of course not.

I thought it was an interesting cultural thing.

😄 Who told you that!?!? I'm from Scandinavia, and I??ve NEVER had that!!!

Many people drink though, in Denmark it's perfectly fine to drink in public, but not in Norway or Sweden. Those contries have very expensive alcohol with many constrictions...

Denmark is a all-free politics (have two major beer companys, Tuborg and Carlsberg, which makes a lot of money for the government!), so especially many people form Sweden go to Denmark to buy alcohol and drink too. Especially swedish people get drunk as hell!!!!!

Snaps, akvavit and all that stuff is mainly for a night time shot (it's supposed to be healthy) or easter and chirstmas celebration.

😄 😄 Yay someone from Denmark.

I can believe it.

Oh someone who we know that visits Denmark alot. 🙂 Maybe they go to places where they do that in the morning.

i did mention that i thought parts in Germany drink way toooo early, like in the afternoon/lunch.
